Keeping your hair
A topic that comes up constantly around here is hair loss. I took bits and pieces of tons of those discussions and created a hair “therapy” of my own that has worked very well. Im 27 now. When i was 22, even before steroids , i could tell i was thinning pretty bad. I have more hair now than i had then.
Listed from most important to less important:
1. Finastride. This stuff works. “But dht based compounds wont be affected by fina” false. Dht compounds are derived from dht, they are not dht themselves and cannot convert to dht. The reason dht compounds are thought to cause hairloss is because they free up alot of test and that test converts to dht. This conversion is slowed by finastride and bam, less hair loss.
2. Hgh. Growth is one of my favorite compounds. It makes my skin nicer, makes my beard amazing, and last but not least improves the quality of my hair. I think this is a big part of committing to keeping your hair. It aint cheap but how bad do you want your hair?
3. Biotin hair supplements. You can find these all over amazon. Lots of them also act as a great multivitamin. You’ll know when you get a good one because your fingernails will grow at 100mph. Heres what im using now:
https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/p...sin=B00XHKBDG0
4. Rx4 hair products: ive been thru alot of hair shampoo and gels etc and i like this one the best. They sell a shampoo, conditioner, and a cream/pomade sort of styling gel that i really like. Keeps my hair from getting stringy and brittle and adds volume. Heres a link to the pomade stuff:
https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/p...sin=B00L2JKUY4
5. The procerin system: this is hairloss “kit” with a vitamin and a hair foam. Its not like rogaine. Rogaine is fucking poison i lost more hair with that shit and burned my scalp. The procerin foam is natural ingredients thought to stop hair loss for men. The vitamins have herbal stuff in them also intended to stop hair loss. I use the procerin foam in the morning and the rx4 pomade after work. Youll have to google the procerin kit. Ive had mine on auto delivery for years. Its listed here last because i think its overkill but you really want hair right?
Take all of this with a grain of salt. Im not a hair professional. Im barely even a person. But if you use all of this consistently for long periods of time, i would bet you grow more hair.
Ive actually noticed slight thinning the last few months and i may switch the finastride for dutastride.

Good recommendations. I will look into Biotin oral supplements. I tried biotin shampoo and didn't notice much.
One thing you can add to the list is microneedling. I do it and it seems to work. A study was done for men doing weekly dermarolling with minoxidil and something like 85% of the group saw pretty significant hair regrowth.

Here is the study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746236/
I use the Dr. Pen off of Amazon.
The way I do it is I wet my hair, and use a comb to part my hair every .75 inches or so, starting on one side of my head. Then I just go front to back or back to front. I basically dab the pen up and down as I move it, I don't drag it. I have not had any hair break or anything, and I ran my fingers through my hair to make sure. I have done it myself and have had someone do it for me. The needles are very thin but you still feel it. Feels like getting a tattoo. The most painful parts are in the front of the scalp. It only takes me about 15 minutes or less.

I'm not experienced enough with different compounds but the worst for me was DHB. Test, deca , and EQ seem to be fine. I stay away from the known hair killers like Masteron .
Octaneforce, I had the same experience with liquid minoxidil that you had with Rogain. Once I switched to foam I never experienced that again. I heat the plastic cap where you're suppposed to squeeze the foam into under hot water, then press the foam into the cap. I place the cap on top of some hot water, making sure no water gets into the cap. This melts the foam into liquid. Then I use the dropper to suck the liquid in and apply it. Just foam on it's own is trash. Gets all over the hair and not on the scalp.

Mast!?! Oh crap, maybe that’s why I had a little more thinning last year. I used it when I tried low dose tren .
So it’s really a definite then regarding mast & hair? Isn’t mast supposed to be a given when using tren or can you get around that? I loved my tren, even at 125 mg.
I really appreciate this Test, TY!

Haha, masteron is definitely one of the worst offenders in regards to hair. I don't think tren is much better, but I'm not sure. Haven't done either. If I did tren, I'd end up like you and then have to come back with another username ;-)

Dammit, thought I could avoid it by staying low dose
Thank god I’m tall because the only way you can tell if I’m thinning is if I’m sitting and you can look straight down. Still, dammit about the mast!

Nice post / blog, Octane...but your links are private "your orders," you probably need to log out and copy and paste the item on a general amazon page search engine then copy and paste the browser ?
how about biotin?
so you suggest maybe taking more biotin just to play it safe?
idk if u have seen bigger stronger faster, but some supplement companies that use plastic capsules that open up, put like a sugar filler in them.... for example 40 percent tribulus and 60 percent sugar, this could be a concern with biotin, too.

also what kind of HGH do you recommend? are you referring to the Human Growth Hormone in a vial that a person pins subcutaneously? or...
HgH in a capsule /vitamin form?

So, I'm assuming what the mr. Pen does is stimulate hair follicles. Like that electric baseball cap that's advertised on TV commercials?
1 of the old school hair transplant surgeons who since retired but who taught his student, and the student was the one who did a hair transplant on me-- said those electric hair follicle stimulators were a scam.
that may be erroenous though. i will have to study microneedling, it just I don't want to (I fear) damage the pores on my head on accident.

here Octane.... here's a link that's on the general amazon site which is not a "private order"
for the Rx +4 you speak of, (you just gotta copy & paste it into your web browser) ......
(but also do note a handful gave 1 star, that's to be expected of any product, i guess ?)....

I started doing this about 10 years ago and bought 2 different sized microneedling rollers. I never did it consistanty and I had not heard of anyone else doing it for hair loss at the time but it just made sense to me since they stimulate new skin/follicle growth. Its sort of funny how many things I started doing a few years before they went mainstream. I was even using voip in the early 90s. lol

ahead of your time, brother. I fell off for a bout a month now and need to start using it again. Got some more replacement cartridges in the mail over the weekend.
I had a problem with the battery on the Dr. Pen and contacted the company on their website. They tell me that anything sold outside of their website is not approved/counterfeit. So if anyone wants to buy it, get it from their website not Amazon/etc.

I’m so blessed not to have this issue even 15 years into cycling I have lost no hair. Just ordered some hgh, I do have a few grey hairs wondering if this will help likely going to ramp up to 5iu’s per day.

Haven't been on here in awhile, hello everyone.
Keeping your hair on gear. We can talk about what promotes hair growth all day but one needs to address root cause. There is finasteride and dutasteride but people have their reasons for staying away depending on what might effect them and what the cycle is. If not running one of those then a topical called RU58841 is the foundation and in the view of some should be anyways. It blocks all androgens not just DHT from shrinking the hair follicles. Could go nuclear and run that with the orals. Then minoxidil if needed.
I've heard that testosterone itself can also lead to follicle miniaturization. I don't know off the top of my head if RU58841 helps with that but there is another topical that can.

Thanks!
Start your search with hairtransplantnetwork dot com. They ensure the Dr's are the best. They go by actual results and customer satisfaction rather than who has the best advertising budget (think hairformen infomercials). As long as you pick from this list, you will be fine. Its like tattoos, don't bargain shop because its permanent!
