Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Week #1 has come and gone and it feels better than expected and better than prior to surgery.
I have to keep it in the sling most of the time just so I'm not tempted to use it. I really don't want the bicep coming detached again.Guess what time it is?-20220109_151905.jpg

That does look better! The first pic had me a bit woozy. Glad it is healing up! Are you helping it along with peps or anything else?

I thought my doctor said he wasn't going to have to put his knee in my ribs to pull my socket out this time lol

Looking far better than I would have thought. Do you have arm/hand swelling? Do you need to wear a compression sleeve?

I’d love to read the operative report.

Man, keep a log for this cause there are going to be more than a few of us getting these in the following years.

No compression sleeve, just a thick cushy arm brace. I added my own adjustable hand rest because the strap that goes over your thumb to hold your hand up sucks and cuts off circulation. I used a plastic laddle. LoL
It actually works great. Handle rest under your arm and hand on top. Adjust as needed.

The only swelling I had was where the blood was pooling in the triceps but it went away for the most part after a few days, especially after I started to let my bare rest freely out of the sling.

Some doctors want you to start PT in a few days and you do need to have someone help keep your arm moving to keep range of motion and not stiffen up but after my last battle with the bicep and rotator tendon coming detached I like to wait a few weeks with very limited movement to give it time to heal. It's to easy to accidently use your own muscles to move it and have a problem later.Guess what time it is?-20220111_153858.jpg

    Update:
So far so good even though if my doctor knew how much I was using it withing 2 weeks after surgery and especially 5 weeks he would have freaked but at my 5 week appointment he said it looked Great and I was probably several weeks ahead of schedule and due to ROM and strength no PT unless I want to.

The day after my appointment I left for the Philippines to relax and heal for 1 month. As typical and my life goes it was not relaxing or a vacation by any means. I worked probably 80% of the time doing repairs on my house over there and finishing up things I didnt get to last time. My arm got a workout for sure and at the end of every day I could hardly lift it. That was my PT and I was cautious not to do anything stupid to hurt it again.

Im going to start lifting again (if you can call it that) but lightly. No over doing it this time. Need to build back up SLOWLY.

Sucks big time but it'll come back. Just don't be over-zealous.
