On HBO. Saw the first episode and couldn’t stop laughing. Trouble is, the stuff is largely true.

Grew up with the Watergate fiasco, saw the movies, read the books, etc.

Then watched a series called “Gaslit” recently that had a slightly different take (but kicked ass). Quickly got hooked on the G. Gordon Liddy character, particularly an episode showing his escapades in jail & solitary confinement.

So, bought and read his autobiography. This dude is an OG American Psycho! Holy crap, what a piece of work!

Can’t wait for tonight’s new episode.

Huh, how’d I completely forget about Howard Hunt’s wife’s mysterious death & his connection to the JFK assassination?

And as truth would have it, Woody (who plays Hunt), his dad actually was an assassin.

Throughout the episodes the topic of what he knows about the JFK assassination keeps reoccurring & I was going , like wtf. I just bought his son’s book of Hunt’s confessions in his final weeks prior to dying. The excerpts I’ve read are pretty intriguing to say the least.

Maybe this could put things in perspective about my life - I just got off lucky today with my quote to fix the oil leak in my beast of a Mercedes AMG. It’s likely less than $3K, or the amount I’ll be spending when I go back to the liquor store out here to buy some difficult to almost impossible to get bourbon. BTW, neither purchase raises an eyebrow. Want to bet me that I’m making this shit up?

Damn interesting book. If you’re a JFK conspiracy fan, it’s a hell of a place to start.

Took it a step farther & read a great book on the history and truly nasty shenanigans of the OSS during WW2, which then became the CIA and just got more f’d up. Currently reading one courtesy of the Cuban’s counter intelligence files of the botched bay of pigs, botched Castro assassination (talk about inefficiency) and one the CIA did get right, the Kennedy assassination.

Just read how Trump (if re-elected) is boasting he’s going to release the remaining Kennedy files because the people deserve to know the truth. Sure, right. He said the same thing in 2016, but the CIA convinced him not to. Just like they did for Biden & every President before them. We don’t really want this truth made front headline news.
