My luck

Well it seems my typical bad luck/good luck has returned.We are supposed to be on a flight to Playa Del Carmen right now but Delta Airlines would not let us board.

It turns out Mexico will not accept a green card extension from the US But yet it seems they will let anybody from any other country walk through their borders trying to enter the US. How does that work?

Well I decided to try to take the lemons they gave me and turned them into lemonade like I usually do.

I have to admit Delta Airlines customer service was actually very good at working with us but not so much at the airport check in. We were able to change our flight to a different destination and still get a considerable refund.

Another little bonus is due to the hurricane in the coast it was going to be cloudy and rainy most of the time in Mexico.Maui here we come.

One other side note. I found out after so research basically the Delta gate agent was wrong or lying so after our Maui trip I am going to be making some phone calls and they are going to be owing me quite a bit more.

Yes, definitely time to have a chat with Delta beyond just the gate agents!

Yup, Ill update after I get in touch with them. I did see I also have insurance on the trip. I have not had a chance to contact them yet but I will soon.We were in Maui for the little wind storm we had in Washington. I cant believe the name they are giving it. FFS, its just the seasonal wind storm but a little stronger than the last few years. No big deal. Bomb cyclone hahahaWhen we got back our power was still out and had been for 3 days but came back on a few hours after we got home to our 16 cats. lol It was 12 but the day before we left 1 had kittens. All the other are fixed and the 1 mail who wasnt is now.
