Hey guys, today i was volunteering down at Brigam & womans hospital here in boston, and one of the girls i was helping out does research for harvard. She asked me if i wanted to do a sleep study, it'd be 11 night sleeping there for 1800 bucks. It's about 45 mins away, and it has to be 11 nights in a row. I'll be getting scalp electrodes to monitor my alpha, beta, and gamma patterns as i fall asleep, and i get woken up twice a night by a random occurrence. (?????) Think i should do it? Getting paid to sleep sounds pretty damn sweet.

you know rickson, i'm pretty sure that may very well be one of the ways. She said the random occurances are going to be just that.. random. I imagine that their placement is going to be determined by my brainwaves, i think they want to see just what happens to someone's brain waves when they wake you up while you're having certain patterns. Then they're trying different ways of waking you up. If i agree to it i can get a bonus of 200 if I let them put and IV in me while i sleep, and they'll use random fda approved chemicals to wake me up. (epinephrine, caffine, etc.)
It's looking like i'm going to do it, got my GF's approval.
