1st time anyone has asked me if i lift......
tonight i was at the galyans (sports store like oshmans) picking up some more plates and a couple dumbells and also looking for an attachment for my bench to work my back, anyway.. i was waiting for my dumbass dad who got lost inside cuz it closed at 9 and they kicked everyone out and he was inside looking for me, and while i was waiting this kid that worked there goes "do you lift any?" im like, "a little" it gave me a great boost in confidence that my work is showing and people notice weeeeee

yeah, it was the best when my orthopedist was voice recording his notes on me/my injury when he first checked me out. "22 year old male, 5'9, lean, muscular" big confidence booster. Although, i did wonder if he was coming on to me...

Several years ago one morning, I was at a female friend of mine house. As we were standing in her doorway, the sanitation engineers (garbage men) were passing up her street picking up everyone's garbage. The guy picking up hers looked at us and shouted out to me wearing a rag top and California CrazeeWear pants, "Damn man, you must pump iron." I said, "Sure thing, man." Then I mumbled for only us to hear, "Now I'm over hear hoping to pump (my friend's name)." She got pissed at me for saying that around her kids.........LOL

nothing feels better than having others recognize and admire the hardwork you put into improving your physique. My above post is writeen with pure sarcasm, not to offend.

I got ya usual suspect. i remember going to the doctor for a CAT scan on my chest and seeing the Radiologist summary as "overly developed muscularity" or something like that i was high for days. The best part, huh? is that the more you lift, the more cool stuff happens

What did he say that was so bad? I don't like gay guys hitting on me either. It's not like he said anything derogatory really.

I love it when the girls ask to see my muscle, and I explain that it really isn't a muscle at all, but I will show it to them anyway!
Or when a friend of mines ex-girlfriend commented on how I was a big man, like her Ex however unlike him, I had big muscles!Last edited by Bigen12; 10-06-2003 at 02:07 PM.
