be careful what you wish for potential gym owners
i am co -owner and general manager of a private gym in this bullshit rich fuck town in nj. graduated w/ a business management degree(not worth the paper it's printed on IMO, i basically bought my way into my current income).
all the i wanna own a gym guys, it's 7:30 am sunday and i'm in my office(well talking to you guys, but)doing paperwork after just being here. all i do is live at the gym.kills your motivation to train hard, eat, you don't sleep. i'm exhausted all the time, but i'm making a very comfortable income w/ this place and it's growing so out of control i'm in negotiations right now to build a bigger place by 2005. i just want to sleep

of course i would bro.....hell i couldnt ding a fellow board brother, the fines on undersize fish are outrageous($250.00 a fish), had a guy from miami the other day who had 37 grouper all between 13" and 17" thats a total of $9250.00 plus the court costs, it was my biggest case this year so far, if the guy wouldnt have been such a "dick" he would have never got caught, i waved to him as i was going by, and he snubbed me, so i stopped him for a safety inspection, blood and squid all over the deck, i said "hey got any fish on board" he said "nope, and you cant look unless you have a warrant" well he was wrong......lol, found em all in a cooler stashed under the console, hooked him up bro, had no choice.......hell all he had to do was wave hello back to me.......geez, some people lol.........Cntndr

I am a chief field engineer for a large construction company. I have worked on mainly large projects from major roadway and bridges, mid-rise buildings and water treatment plants. I am currently working on a water treatment plant, which when completed will be the largest water treatment plant in the south east and the third larges in the US. We average working 60 hours a week which doesn't leave much time for anything else. My fun job is working 2 nights a week as a bouncer in a couple of clubs in Macon.

I just started a new job last week as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. I caved in for the money, again. Lots of travel, etc. Oh well, at least the $ is good.
I'm still trying to find that "perfect" job.
Before that was an advertising account executive for a cluster of radio stations.

I'm currently a purchase agent for a cemennt plant. I am the one that orders all the parts for our machinery. I also am responsible for keeping up with ordering all of our stock equipment along with keeping relations with current vendors. So in other words, I sit in front of my computer, talking on the phone all day. The pay sucks, hours are good, and benefits are what's keeping me here.
