Guys, many of you have been on here forever. I don't know why, but suddenly women wearing next to nothing is showing up in avatars of members that have been here forever. Is this a new style? Am I missing something? I know that as long as you are within board rules, I cannot say or do anything, well unless I am having a bad day and just want to screw with you for the fun of it.
But remember, the more you push it, the more the new members are going to push it. I don't want this to get out of control. You are posting all over the board, greeting new male members as well as female members. I want the female members to stay, and I don't think the first thing they want to see on a message board, where they are already highly outnumbered by males, is a pic of a girl in a thong. Ladies, correct me if I am wrong on this one. Just keep it tame guys. Everyone's test is high on this board, and I am sure that everyone loves to look at beautiful women, but please keep it within good taste.

PTbyJason, I feel this thread was directly pointing at me, maybe indirectly, whose to say. I just posted the avatar for fun and I thought it was new and refreshing. If I offended any female members or male members at that, on this board I am truly sorry. I think if you're trying to keep the numbers of women who are comfortable posting here and you want the women to ma instream more...then posting asses in thongs would be pushing it....don't get me wrong..personally it doesn't bother me...it's rather tame w/ some of the shit I've seen in avatar's and signature lines...
I've been around these boards too many years now....and I've seen it all....
but it could be why more women don't mainstream into the regular forums.....even though there's a nice bunch of people here....

I also knew it was going to come up soon. That or some of the posts we are creating. I totally agree with Jason. I've been to other boards and they out of control when it comes to going over the edge. Thats why I love this board!!!! We have to remember what the board is all about. I also think we have such a unique bunch of people that get along amazing and sometimes being close, we go over the edge.

Buylongterm- You made a very good point. I understand were jason is coming from and you. We are like a big group of friends or "family" and we take things different between each other then outsiders would take looking in. To us alot of the posts have meaning that others wouldnt understand or they are funny to us, because we have known each other for a while, yet not funny to them.
