What would you do with $20 millions
Imagine you just came about $20 million dollars... lottery, inheritance, whatever... you just came about the money, non taxable, all yours.
What do you do with it?

Well, I'd pay off all my bills, help my parents out with theiir IRS trouble. Buy me a nice home and some land, a couple of new vehicles, set up a trust fund for my kids. Start up my own business and tell the rest of the family and in-laws to kiss my white irish ass.
Oh yeah.... become the biggest sumbitch ya'll ever seen. LMAO!!!

I'd pretty well set up my kid and my sister for life...
Quit my damm job!
Take a year or two and take my boy on a trip around the world (hire a tutor/teacher of course!)
Get a nice house in the quiet subs
Find myself a dungeon of a gym, buy it and run it "hardcore only"
Hire myself some big juice monster who knows what he's doing as full time personal trainer
A dude can dream no?

I'd put enough away so that I could retire and live off the interest the way I live now.
I'd give my mom enough to retire and live comfortsble for the rest of her life.
I would pay some of my friend's houses off for them.
Then I would buy a mint 87 Grand National, 67 Corvette, 70 Chevelle SS 396, have my GTO turned into the sickest track car on the east coast, also build a garage for all my cars
-

Pay off all my family and good friends Mortgages and outstanding bills (student loans, car payments, etc...)
Then, I'd buy a house in Encinitas, California AND in my hometown Toronto, Canada.
I'd buy a Cadillac EXT, a Ferrari 360 and probably an Escalade and you know they'd all be decked out to the max.
I'd then go shopping and get nothing but custom fitted suits. I'd also get Oakland Raider's season tickets and probably Toronto Maple Leaf/Raptors season tickets.
Business wise? I'd open up my own resort in Cancun.
Oh, and lot's and lot's of human grade quality sauce.

2. Buy a top notch Condo in the GTA (a nice big one).
3. Pay for my 3 best friends cars, schools, homes.
4. Put aside at least half (10 million) into some kind of savings.
5. Buy AR
6. Continue my studies at U of T, but taking very few classes a year (PT).
7. Find and buy a brand new 1998 Eagle Talon + Jaguar for my mommy (her dream car).
8. Tell all my relatives to fuck off, and that they don't get a penny (except for the couple aunts/uncles who I like and are nice).
9. Promise to pay for the education of all my cousins and friends (but only for going to Univ.).
10. Spoil myself just a little

first things first i'd put half of it into bonds. Second, i'd pay off my parents house, and get them a new car or two, my brother a little place somewhere and some cash to make it nice, and repay my sister for picking up the slack on my loans, then give her a mil or so to invest for herself. Then i'd finish up college/med school and build myself a nice little house in Roxbury Ct, and move in with my girlfriend after i start up my own practice.
Cars:
Koenigsegg CC S8 why? because ferraris are too common.
Acura MDX because all the other nice suv's are either too big or too ugly for my girl
Merc S500 to take the kids around in

I'd give a tenth away...i currently give 1/10 of every penny that comes through my bank account to some form of charity and will continue to do so until doing so puts me in some kind of rough situation, so no reason to switch up philosophies because of 20mill.
After that, each "true" friend gets a decent new car. I buy myself a nice home in a nice community where safe, compounded interest on the balance allows me to never worry about money again and I pursue my true dream job scenario: teaching high level high school English and coaching HS basketball.

Pay off debts.
Set up trust funds for unborn kiddies - and then get to work
Trust funds for my three brothers, but make them wait until age 30 to get the cash.
My parents don't need any help, but I could make it possible for them to retire early.
I'd buy a big place somewhere in Boston, maybe Beacon Hill. I love being in the city.
Furnish that place.
Buy a nice car, nothing outrageous.
I guess invest the sizable portion that would be left over.

Travel. Experience the world, eat real italian food, real spanish food, real greek food...see history that extends beyond 200 years.
I'd take care of my immediate family and friends. Pay for my sister's college, my parents' debts.
I'd invest in charities i believed in - both w/ financial support and with my time.
I'd sit courtside at Phoenix Suns games...and every once in a while take in a Lakers game courtside...not to mention every other team in the L.
I'd invest to ensure my (theoretical) kids are taken care of and schooling paid for...but make sure they've completed college before they can get any funds for themselves...
Build myself a house...not too big, just enough bedrooms for myself and potential kids (1 or 2) but complete w/ home gym (Bally's eat your heart out...) a full court indoor basketball court and hottub...maybe a couple hot tubs... Large backyard w/ a built-in BBQ. Ahhh dreams
Back to reality...well, not yet

I'd do what every respectable millionaire does.............I'd put it all in about fifteen different banks and never touch it. Then I'd get me a shopping cart and push that thing around town everyday picking up cans. And when I'm drunk off of the mad dog 20/20 I'd direct traffic! When the cops arrest me I can say "do you know who I am.............I'm a millionaire!"
Oh man, now that's livin! hahahahaha
