    What do you eat for latenight snack???????

    was just curious........i need some good shit to eat latenight

    i usually eat a can of sardens in cottonseed oil....not that healthy but its got a crapload of protein

    ppl says fruit is not good at all when you going to bed, i only take some apples, oranges or bananas at breakfast or before workout. Latenight 2 doses of supplement.

    Those are the same people who say ANYTHING before bed is bad. Its true but when you are trying to gain weight, those tips dont apply.

    Me staying lean? I can go either way. I can bulk up quick and I can lean out quick. Good genetics. Just cost a lot to stay bulked up.
    The craving for fruit comes around a lot. If that is what I have a craving for, it means my body needs it, so I give it fruit. Just canned pineapple. I feel sluggish with all the eggs, chicken, rice, bread, and weight gainer inside my guts.

    i dont mean not eating fruit, cuz i do, but its just someppl say (so gym ppl as doctors) its better to take it in the morning or before exercise, cuz what you more get from them is water and fructose, not protein or carbs enough to make them a bulking supplement, but nice for get some extra-energy, thats my opinion for what i heard.

    Turkey or chicken sandwich. Sometimes a protein bar and a large glass of milk if there is nothing else. But I don't like getting up to pee every 2 hours, so I avoid too much liquid.

    Accually fruit is packed with simple carbs and sugars. That is the reason why your dont eat it before you go to bed. Any time you eat a simple carb of starch it raises your blood sugar level which spikes your insulin level. Your insulin is going to try to deliver these carbs where they are needed throughout your body. If you are about to go to sleep then they are not needed and will be stored as fat.

    Useally meal replacement shake... BUT u know what is really great, taste awsome, but is like eating air alsmost. French Twist. They come in all different flavors... They are some sort of health food coffee treat thing, anyone ever try them..

    Yah, a 15 oz can . . . 42g prot, 14g fat, 36g carbs. WBChili, lean beef with beans. Something about the spices puts me right to sleep. And once your system gets used to it there are no, um, untoward odors. Takes a while, though. Makes a nice break from the midnight shakes, too . . .

    An MRP with about 30 grams of protein(too much protein at bedtime can cause sleeplessness) and a handful of unsalted peanuts at bedtime and then another, smaller 8 ounce, 20 grams protein) MRP when I get up in the middle of the night to relieve myself..This keeps my metabolism running at high gear throughout the night and keeps my muscles happy..

    is it a big difference if you can wake up in the middle of the night and have a little meal? If you sleep 8 hours, must you try waking up at 4th hour and take some protein? i sleep too deeply, but if theres a great difference in metabolism ill do.

    Wiky..No, it's really not a huge deal to get up in the middle of the night to consume a meal..The sleep outweighs the meal in regards to importance..I do it to keep my metabolism running efficiently and to keep my body from a catabolic state..I get up anyway because my mind races like a freight train at night so I try and do something productive by getting up and having a little MRP..It works for me quite well..

    i used to eat tuna before bed buti hate tuna so much now it makes me sick just thinking about it................i had to switch to fresh salmon.(raw)
