I think I become more conservative by the day...
...I mean, seriously, there are a few "computer guys" on this board, and I'm sure each of them will reiterate what i've heard from every other comp person i know: these terms have NOTHING to do with that which is implied by these uber-liberals anymore than "male" and "female" in plumbing denote something about human gender.

The Democrats who are this childishly politicaaly correct are a small minority of the actual party. Unfortunately there are areas in this country who see things this way, especially in Ca. The Republicans also have a minority that turns off the middle of the road voters such as Tom Delay, Rush "the junkie" Limbaugh and several others. Any intelligent person would be digusted by such extreme nonesense from either party. There Are different definittions to words and I'm sure human slavery had no conection to the naming of computer drives.
