Car Lifting
I was watching this strongman competition on Fox Sports and they were lifting up the back end of a new Ford Taurus. My question is, how lbs is the back end of a Taurus?? They were doing deadlifts with it...a bar was hooked up to the car and they would use that to lift. Mark Phillippi or however you spell is name did it 9 times!!! Any input?

Probally upwards of 800lbs, maybe more with a full tank of gas, don't they use wraps, I can't see anyone deadlifting more then 800-900lbs for reps... ya know
Didn't he blow his knee out with that lift, poor guy i watched him doing that event once and he just collapsed, his knee buckled pretty bad.

The one I just saw he didnt get hurt on. I know he won that contest with either 8 or 9 reps. It was amazing.

hehehe........that just reminded me of the time when a car was blocking the enterance to our gym parking lot..........so my boyfriend and one of the other trainers at the gym...........just walked outside......literally picked it up and moved it.........
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, THAT IS STRENGTH

there's actually a pretty easy way to do it, i know it works with older cars but i havent done it for awhile, so the newer ones might not work but you basically get like 4 guys or so and push down on the car over and over again to get it bouncing (yes the car will bounce in the air) once its in the air, all you gotta do is push from one side to move. we used to ****k with people all the time. it seriously works and you can move cars pretty far that way

I think shes just trying to hype her boyfriend, you know the girl type thing where they say his scholong is so freaking BIG. When I was in college these guys found out their roomate stole some crap out their room so they went to his car and rocked it over and over until it flipped over on its roof. It was one of those small festiva type vehicles.
