Trance Music for Cardio!!
I am looking for some songs to put on the MP3 player to get me through my cardio. I find that for myself personally trance works best for cardio that is. Pumping the iron is a different story that is were the hard stuff like Disturbed comes in. But like I said I am in search of some hard trance.
For example: Paul Oakenfold almost the entire CD from swordfish.
DJ Tiesto-Flight 643
What can you guys come up with I am looking for a kinds of ideas.
Thanks in advanceLast edited by Shredz; 12-29-2003 at 08:43 PM.

I doubt it. The only modern music I listen to is death metal. I'll download a song though just for the hell of it.

I don't know trance from house or whatever, but if you want something with a good beat to run, check out:
Underworld - Rez Cowgirl (live).mp3 (16.555 megs)
Chemical Brothers - It Began In Africa.mp3 (5.879 megs)
Moby - Natural blues.mp3 (5.949 megs)
New Order - Confusion.mp3 (9.563 megs)
I especially like It Began in Africa as it has the perfect BPM for a good run...

Here's what I like to do. I downloaded RIPCAST from download.com Here is the page http://download.com.com/3000-2168-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1 Then I go to www.shoutcast.com and select dance/house and use ripcast to rip it to mp3, use my mp3 player at the gym and voila. Let me know if this works okay for you. Mark

It all depends on what area of the country you are from too....
I used to bring my NY House down to college in Florida and let the guys I bounced with listen to it and they thought it was too hard... they liked the trancier stuff...
If you like hard Trance... try some Mauro Picotto...
Same as Danielle said... if you want some help with music lemme know... I'll shoot you over some files...

Give Laurent Garnier a try. I also like a little Brooklyn Bounce. Maybe Basement Jaxx (where's your head at) I probably have 20 gigs of this type of stuff downloaded.
From the ones mentioned above, I would defly check out: Tiesto, Darude, New Order (Confusion), Chemical Bros (It began in Africa, et al),DJ Irene, DJ Fergie, Lisa Pin-up, Louie Devito, Mauro Picotto, Felix da Housecat, LOA.........
This thread is sweet, I have been wanting to go back through all of this stuff and burn some new discs....thanx for the kickstart.

I downloaded some old Bad Boy Bill stuff from Kazaa Lite++ the other day and his full length mix CD's seem to be really good. No breaks between songs to slow you down either.
Prodigy isn't trance but it gets you moving pretty good.
Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun is awesome
Underworld - Born Slippy
Paul Van Dyk is trancy
Check out a lot of the Sarah McGloughlin remixes w/BT or Tiesto
