    Deadlifts are back!

Today was my first day since my knee surgery doing deadlifts.. i kept it under 225, super light even for me.. but it felt good just doing them again. Just figured i'd share.. knee feels good, back feels good.. It's a good feeling.

Hey man! long time no see. Yeah, i've been doing legs for a while.. but haven't been able to do squats as much as i like. I do them every other week if the knee feels good enough.. lately it's been great though. The past three months it's just been extensions/curls/press each one legged.. but it's finally as strong as the other one, although not as big..
so i figured i'd do some deads today.. and they went well. I'm thinking in about 4 days i'm gonna do some serious squatting.

    cool!

IMO presses put less stress on your knees and hack squats put more on them than squats.

Yeah.. the presses have been great.. i went from not even being able to lift myself up with one leg immediately after the surgery to evening out the strength of both legs.. even though it took a while, i know it was the presses that got me back to almost normal.

Good to hear that man. If your still getting pain, try a leg press with a large foot plate so you can place your feet forward of your knee on full compression.
