That car was awsome, poor thing took some punishment though. I couldnt believe the engine lasted as long as it did when they had it at full rev for 5 minutes. Toyota makes some good cars, almost as good as nissan.

Now imagine doing the same thing with a '78 chevy Nova with a 350
It would be frightning!
You could probably get the whole thing done on the cheap if you're a good scavenger... Junkyard-Wars did it pretty well. Electric window motor for steering, servo right on the carb for throttle, everything was junk.

Servos and hydraulics. They made the accelerator the smart way. Same with the brakes. Monster garage made there RC the WAY complicated way.
If you can weld and know how to isntall hydros and accuators and some electrical sense such as how to rig your remote control, then it would be cool.
