A little light reading for you guys
I wanted to share this with AR. It’s a poem I wrote in a few hours, one of my favorites. I just thought some would enjoy reading it. Enjoy.
Ticking clocks
And flying storks
Dropped from air
Without any hair
Left to cry
Spanked by a guy
Crippled and cold
Too cute to hold
Starting to talk
Starting to walk
Getting too big
Thin as a twig
Always running
Never stopping
Now bike riding
Always whining
Getting extra hair
Right down there
Now you're a teen
Oh so mean
Cruel to the bone
Looking to bone
You’re all vexed
From lack of sex
It’s all gravy
It’ll work out baby
Now you're in college
Hooked on phonix
Live it up
Get fuked up
You drink too much
Pay bills Dutch
Never tipping
Always dipping
Four years gone by
You’re a grad guy
It’s all grand
Making fifty grand
Learning the ropes
Smoking dope
Find a wife
Start a new life
You have fights
Very long nights
The ups and downs
The grins and frowns
It’s all gravy
She’s your baby
You have a child
Nothing wild
Not any more
Life’s a bore
He’s a teen
Boy is he mean
Doesn’t love you
That’s not true
He moves away
Beg him to stay
Starts his own life
You lose your wife
You’re alone
Cold as stone
Few more years
Many more tears
Family visits
Have their limits
When you’re in the home
Oh so alone
You lose your mind
Life is unkind
Get real sick
Real hard to kick
You have a seizure
An old geezer
Who can’t hold it?
Doesn’t make it
Your life is lost
Memories tossed
The ones to remember
Are family members.

Gently floating
Openly seeing
Outside the comforts
Deprived of breathe
Pushing you back
On to the water
Every thing else
Moving with time
Dont just jump
Openly into regret
Close yourself off
Hold onto a dream
Only if lies
Lay waiting
Inside you
Dropping again
Another promising
Year past

That's great Doc, I love it.
Here's one of mine...
Am I who I want to be
Beautiful I am not, but humble possibly
Spontaneous and outgoing, gentle and caring more appropriatley
Proud and outspoken, more like meek and shy
The center of attention, actually more willing to listen when you need to talk
Strong in body, maybe, but strong in charecter and strong in heart is more valuable
Maybe I am not all I would like to be
But I just might be all that you need me to be

I know you’ve written something mass. Maybe a “cute” little haiku? Or better, some sappy love poem?

From the diet forum. I posted this a while back.
An ode to carbohydrates...
Dearest carbohydrate i write this now as i eat my oatmeal,
Nice and full, that is how you make me feel.
I dream about you night and day,
Please don't ever go away.
Sometimes indeed you make me fat,
Why do you tease me so and make me look like a chubby rat.
There are many things we do not know,
But i won't list them now so i can keep my rhythmic flow.
Sometimes i swear you off and cycle anew,
But when i do not eat you i can not poo.
To go without you i can not grow,
To live without you is a life i can not know.
Why do you taunt me so i can not choose?
You are there even when i drink my booze!
Oh dearest carb i wish you well...
But as i write this in my eyes tears begin to swell!
Do not leave me my friend!
Without you my muscle growth will be put to end!
You will be the end of me,
And without you there is no use in living free.
Never leave me good brother,
For no matter how hard i try i will never leave you for another.

Keep posting poems. Why not?
Grover…NO IT DOES NOT MAKE ME WANT TO GET MARRIED.
I am 20yrs old. It makes me want to have sex with every woman I can. LOL.
One day though, I do want to be in a love so deep only God’s could understand. A strong loving wife and a strong successful child who hold the deepest love for his father.

I guess its really hard to say,
why my heart feels this way,
crazy I know but all the same,
my heart just melts,
when you speak my name,
I wish I knew or understood,
just why I feel like this,
all I know is I love you so,
and can't wait for our kiss,
I know your really special,
a gift from the skies above,
I thank the lord every day,
for giving me your love,
you make me smile,
when I'm feeling blue,
you give me feelings,
warm and yet so true,
I just don't know the reason why I love you
