President Bush disses steroids in speech

I just watched the State of the Union address. President Bush spent some time bashing the use of steroids and calling on all in sports to ban them. I guess he hasn't bothered to look at the facts, just like the Congress with ephedrine. I guess the law his Dad passed in 1990 making them controlled substances isn't going to change anytime soon. Ni modo.

The speach was written by someone other than the president himself, by a team of writers, and was designed to appeal to the masses. We are a minority. There is no greater a chance that steroids will become legalized than weed will become legalized. This is something that you must realize. They will never be legal in this country again, at least not in our lives. It's sad, but it's done, and not going anywhere. Don't knock President Bush because they are illegal. It was your representatives in Congress who made the law. Those are the ones who should be taking the verbal abuse.

In my opinoin, the people who do drugs are going to do them regardless wether they are illegal or not. Make them legal why don't ya, it will illimate all the gangs. Since gangs are only formed over drug money & drug selling territory. And where does most violence stem from. Gang & drug related violence.

Ok, most probably know I have NO love for Bush. I know his father, mother, him, and his two daughters and I dont really care for them, although his father at least was an intelligent man....another story...

Despite my ill feelings for Bush I will get his back now. In my opinion, it is wrong for us all to take shots at this man for his stance on steroids . Everybody here will still get their juice so i dont see what the problem is. We all KNOW that arnold, in all his glory, would NEVER legalize steroids. Its impossible. Now that i see it from your point of view...that's an excellent point. I had a 90lb 16 year old Im me yesterday asking me for cycle advice!! 90lbS?? Come on!!! You can EASILY gain weight without steroids if you get your diet in line. STEROIDS ARE NOT THE ANSWER AT THIS AGE! For all the newbies wanting to get big quickly, with little or no effort, kiss AR's ass. No one here is going to spoon feed you EVERY BIT of information you're asking for. What do you think the educational threads are for? Did you even bother to search for this yourself?

Just as an example...the kid that I talked to, older then me..asked me literally around 100-120 questions. It was the most annoying thing ever, but I felt bad for him , and answered them all. I bet I told him 5-6 times to use the board, and he will probably again ask me the same questions...When will the newbies learn, that steroids are not the key to getting big? IMO, diet is 70% overall, lifting is 30%. Steroids just give you that big extra boost

I agree wholeheartedly with you. If roids were legal, so many kids who are too young to be doing it would have easy access. Heck, I know kids who DON'T have easy access and still do it(as well as other drugs), they just don't care, they **** themselves up anyway!

And steroids are (in my opinion) not for everyone. Only those who have worked hard and know what they are doing should be able to have access to them. Think about it. The way you get roids now, the "system" for getting them discriminates against idiots. If you don't do your research, you will get scammed. If you don't do your research, you won't be able to put together a good cycle. And if you don't know how to bodybuild, then you won't be able to train and eat to get full effect. Now, I am leaving out the lucky ones and the (extremely) genetically gifted, but they are such a small number.

In my mind, steroids are just illegal supplements.
