Highlight of the Superbowl was, the pass completions over 50 yards!!!!!! My jaw was on the floor when jake D. nailed his reciever 'oh so perfectly' 65+ yards away!!!!! I don't think i could throw a baseball 65+ yards away with that kind of accuracy.. That play was the superbowl record 85 yard completion for a touch down!!! I was impressed to say the least.. Also Brady, He hit so many tough passes it made you believe he was there for a reason.. That was one of the best games i've seen..

I appreciate a good naked hooter as much as if not more than the next guy but I hope Janet gets in trouble for this. I hope there's some sort of huge media backlash and her album tanks. She’s just another Jackson willing to do anything to make $$$. When you’re a commercial pop “artist” (it pained me to type that even with the quotes), you’re not selling just to music fans. You’re selling to ma’s and pa’s and grandma’s along with little kids. An event like the Super Bowl gets reported on by EVERYBODY because it’s literally the single biggest annual event in the entire world. All the wholesome Midwestern people…all the overly political correct assholes…they might all actually be useful for a change. Rather than let her music do the talking for her she decided to subvert the super bowl’s FAMILY audience for her own purposes purely as a publicity stunt. These weren’t people who bought tix for a Janet show and knew what they were getting into nor were they watching the MTV awards where they expect outrageous behavior. This was the super bowl which is supposed to be bland and lacking any taste (witness that other anonymous fool that sang before the game started). Good old wholesome organized violence.

Kid Rock was the only decent artist up there at halftime. It’s great that the only white people on the bill is one guy who came up as a rapper on a hip hop label (Kid Rock) and another guy doing a Michael Jackson impersonation (Timberfag). I’m as progressive as the next person but isn’t it possible to have a little more cross section in the music? This is typical for MTV though…it’s tough to turn that channel on and see any white people unless it’s white girls with black guys on their dance shows and "reality" shows or else white “singers” impersonating hip hop/R&B. Outside of Kid Rock what other guitar based acts ever appear on there?

Another thing is that the half time event was produced by MTV. A half hour after the game ended there were reports of how mad the NFL was and how they won’t be working with MTV ever again. Maybe MTV will be mad enough about the black eye she gave them that they won’t play her videos. Hopefully. Not that they play vids anyway. I doubt it though because MTV is too much of corporate sellout whores looking to do anything for $$$. If they tried to stop playing her vids over this it would be viewed as racist.
