Eating/training while on military ex
I was hoping anyone with military (or even not) experience can throw out some ideas for what to do. I'm an army reservist and am taking off today for 3 days, than next month for 6 days - all out in the field. We'll be eating rations and/or assorted crap.
What would be good to preserve my muscle mass while doing all this hard work with insufficient calories? I was thinking of bringing lots of protein bars and some glutamine tablets. Suggestions?

Bring them if you wish. But 9 days off, even with reduced cals and eating MRE's you won't drop muscle mass. Btw, I have 19yrs military service and counting!.

If you want easy protein...take the pouches of tuna. No water so you don't have to drain it, you don't need a can opener and they are small and flat and easy to pack with you. I take them with me when I travel.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.
For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.
