    Bigorexia Anonymous

Rambo and I have started an organization and we're looking for members.

    Our mission statement:

Bigorexia Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from bigorexia. The only requirement for membership is a desire to come to grips with obsessing about getting bigger. There are no dues or fees for BA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. BA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay huge and help other bigorexics to achieve hugeness.

there is a great book......... and i am looking for it... Adonis syndrom??

anyway.. it states that the reason we feel the way we do is the same motivations that models feel.. that never ending cycle of lose more weight.. get more muscle is even worse (in my opinion)..

let see if i can find it..

the funnies thing i say to guys at the gym that might give some crap......

"you wish you could look this good at 44" Biactch

I remember when I first started lifting, I was so excited to hit 180. Then later 195. I started my first cycle a little over a year ago, thinking "only one". I figured 215 would be a good weight. I got up to 222. While I was growing, I felt invincible. Once my muscle growth slowed/stopped, I quickly became depressed again, and I felt just as small as I did before I started, even though I was 27 lbs heavier, I wanted to be bigger. I waited long enough before starting my second cycle, and I blew up to 236. I came off, and due to financial problems, I couldn't keep up my diet, so I dropped down to 224 and became VERY depressed. I started my third and current cycle, and blew up to 247. I was starting to feel good about myself, and I figured I'd start cutting off the last few pounds of fat, and I ended up losing a fair amount of muscle. So here I am now, just below 240, and I've already made plans to run my 4th cycle this June. I'm hoping to hit 255-260, and I PRAY that I'll be content with that. I still fear that it won't be enough. I'm truly afraid I'm gonna look in the mirror @ 260 and feel small.

The worst enemy of those of us who suffer this disorder is the scale. While I still thought I was 247, I looked almost the same, except I was leaner, but once I stepped on the scale and noticed my weight loss, I literally looked back in the mirror and felt like crap. It's amazing the tricks your mind can play on you...

We all feel the same way you do.

We should really start a bigorexia anonymous. We can sit in a circle and everyone call tell you how great you look and ask how much you squat and bench and then applaud. (Positive affirmation) We can have sponsors/mentors you can call when you're feeling small. "No bro, you look great! You're huge!"

My roommate likes to screw with my head. He'll say things like you're legs look smaller. I'll run to the mirror pull up my shorts and start posing. I'll go on for about a half hour kvetching until he says to shut up and he was kidding. Then I'll go are you serious? Were you kidding or just say you're kidding to shut me up.

Dude I know exactly how you feel. Everytime i look in the mirror I just shake my head and say "not big enough". It gets me extremely aggravated. When I went to the gym and stepped on the scale and had LOST weight in the middle of my cycle i actually punched the scale and just walked away in disgust. It's an addiction and it's a really bad one and i set goals up for myself that I know are almost utterly impossible to reach. I say I want to have Mark Kerr's old physique but in actuality his shoulders are broad he's big boned and has taken HGH and its impossible for me to get that big since my frame is a lot smaller. Unfortunately you look at juice as the "stepping stone" to achieve your goal faster but even with juice it's not always gonna happen. I guess you just kinda gotta take what you got and try to achieve small goals each time.

    Good morning fellow bigorexia juicers

I mentioned this cause, If i look in the mirror with no contacts, The picture is blurry, All i see is dark hair, and a t-shirt.. After throwing in the contacts, I see the pea shooters, and narrow shoulders, no muscle development at all.. like i'm starting from scratch.. It makes me work that much harder.. Thats sad, after reading it, but thats how i look at it..

let me get some coffee.. haha

Yeah, that's my problem. I was a very small kid and always thin. Even now, I look in the mirror and sometimes see that same skinny body.

Well, I'm just checking in fellow bros... The mirror has not been good to me.. The scale doesn't even read numbers - it just says: ''LIGHTWEIGHT'' Gotta do something about this, back day today.. DEADLIFTS!!!! It's time to break out of another pair of warmup pants.. My second pair of sneakers went about a month ago, I broke the sole?
