barry bonds or steroids? what do yall think?
Barry bonds has been under fire for steroid use . Do yall think he is using? I dont think its fair if he is using, no offense to any one on this board. I mean they didnt have steroids 40 years ago when Maris beat babe ruth and now we have these drugs that enhance your strength which is a major factor in hitting a homerun. If he has been using i think he should get the homerun title taken away!
What do yall think

~ He could be, but personally i dont think he is, if you look at his career is has been slowly gaining a reasonable amount of weight over the years, when he first came in to the league he was this lil scrawny b*tch, but he has grown at a gradual pace, it is not like he came in after the off season with 30lbs or so of solid mass.~

Put a 1985 and 2004 Barry Bonds' baseball card side by side and then tell me he has never juiced.
It reminds me of one of those Muscletech ads!

Actually, true he was never a skinny little bitch but he was a lot smaller. He was really good but then for a few years seemed to fall behind. That was when we had mark and the other bigger hr hitters. If you look back you will notice that in a span of about 1-2 years he gained about 40 lbs. His size was not gradual. Yes he was not "skinny" but now he is huge. Possibly he didnt use steroids ...but nonetheless be gained a lot of weight and after he did that he got back into the "swing" of things....man i crack myself up

I read in an article he was 186 lbs in his rookie year and that was what 86 or 87. Now hes probably a good 225 or so im guessing. I dont know i think it would be very interesting to see his results on a steriod drug test

Come on now people...as juiceheads ourselves spotting another juicer should not be a problem. Coming in off-season 20lbs less than the were during the season. Veins popping out of the forearms just from signing an autograph. Sporting 25 inch necks and bloated moonfaces...Can you say juice?

Bonds and Giambi are juicing like crazy...throw Sosa into it. No doubt about it. And if they had roids in Pumping Iron in the 60-70's they sure as hell had AAS in major sports.

it would amaze you how many people are on steroids in sports , those names are just a few of the many even just in baseball.

Man they're all juicing. In my opinion, why not. Sports are for entertainment and people want to see incredible, not every day feats, performed by super athletes. So what's the alternative to get the job done and get that paycheck...yes you guessed it...steroids .
Leave the athletes alone i say and let them entertain. It's all over jealousy. Like that coach that found the needle and turned it in to the olympic committee. Jealous because his athlete cant keep up? Then do what needs to be done. It's all about personal goals and striving at any cost to achieve them anyways. Leave them alone.
There doing what needs to be done to be as competitive as possible. It's our human nature to be the strongest, fastest, and best at what we do. That's why I do what I do. I want to achieve my peronal goals and be the best in my gym and on my block. Leave me alone. I'll say what I always say to anyones big nose about it. Nunya! None of yo bisnatch!

One of my good friends is a "rookie" for the Atlanta Braves....He signed a contract right out of high school to the farm team. Anyways he has said to me ON SEVERAL occasions that just about ALL(80%) baseball players are involved with Anabolics. I dont know 100% that Barry is juicing, but if i had to guess i would say yes.

IMO - With the amount of money they have waived over their heads to be the best and give a good performance every game - hell yeah. They get the top of the line coaches, gyms, yadayadayada... and they get good sups and drugs. Designer drugs (like THG) are created for them to use and not worry about testing positive for known metabolites. Testosterone can be changed into hundreds of different compunds to produce a new anabolic -androgenic steroid - and they are constently coming up with new designer gear. Where do you think the individuals who make these new compunds get funded? From the demands placed on them by professional athletes...
What is fair and what isn't fair is too grey. I think Ronnie Coleman or Flex Wheeler's genetics aren't fare - but I don't think they should be stripped of their pro cards...

I don't know if Bonds or any other of the major players are....I would bet they are.
But everyone is, even the pitchers, so no need to take his or any other records away
would anyone want to go watch a player who hits 5 home runs a year? NO, Bonds puts fans in the stadium. Everyone wins. players, owners, and fans

You have to remember that 5-7% of the players tested last year tested positive, and they knew in advance that they were going to be tested. I think that a majority of players are probably juicing or were before testing started.

"i think everyone is juicing...even Bush..."
if they arnt, they dam should be, all baseball players should be forced to, baseball is boring enough without removing the homeruns and bench clearing fights....

something that we forget: What kind of endurance does AS give you in the gym?
There's your answer.. Playing 162 games a year...Would AS help you? Dam right it would.
Alot of these players probably take 250mgs a week of test just to help them get by...Some take more, some take less. But most, if not all of them take something....
