    How much does a billboard cost?

    The billboards you see on the side of the freeway. How much do you think they cost per month to have the advertising painted on there? Anyone in advertising have any idea??

    i'm pretty sure its location specific... and i'm pretty sure it isnt cheap- theres usually numbers on the lower parts of the sign- call em up..

    completely dependent on the location - painting one costs anywhere from $100-$750 depending on the size

    Large ones you seen on the highway run in the thousands....And I don't mean 1,000.00-5000.00 either. You pay big $$$ for them. My buddy owns 2 small ones in the city in Chicago and Charges Jack Daniels 8,000.00 a month!!!

    Actually I was interested in mobile advertising. I think the market might already be saturated. Im looking into it. The big trucks with the huge signs on the back of em and they go to events and exhibitions. Maybe just buy my way into the franchise or something. Just an idea.

    those billboards are location specific when talking about price...however, there is a phone # on every billboard...all you need to do is call that phone # and they will tell you the prices and availability...(my wife is in advertising)

    My company uses one that is digital, it switches every 15 seconds with about 8 other companies, it is on the side of a very busy highway and costs 16K per month
