PC not reading discs in CD drives
Today I noticed when I started my computer I recieved a error message that said...there is no disc in drive or something like that.... I kind of ignored it and closed it out.....Then I was making some copies of a disc and noticed a message that said there was a problem writing the disc...Now When ever I put a disc in the CD drives when I go to open it it either says there is no disc in there or nothing shows up.....anyone have any idea on the problem?
Ran virus scan and spyware and found no virus...
Please help!!!

First thing that came to mind, was you have a virus...Run a different anti-virus prog on ur pc and make sure 100%. You can also unplug ur cd-rom from inside of your tower and plug it back in and restart. Last time i had that problem it was because of a virus..I also have two cd-roms and if i dont have the original one plugged in,it refuses to read the other for some reason...

Have you unistalled Roxio or Nero Lately? Sometimes disabling cd burning software will cause windows to no longer recognize your cd drives as hardware .. Go to device manager and see if there is any icons by your drive.. Like an exclimation mark..
