Welcome to my world. Nothing I can say will help you because I'm seeking help for it too. My problem is working two jobs, which upsets my sleep patern. I lie in bed, absolutely fcuked tired and can't sleep for hours, while my wife is throwing Z's all night. I used to use GABA as a sleep until they took it off the market here, I had sleeping tablets because I'm in a savage humour all the next day from them. Well this week I've ordered GABA from the USA so please god my sleep gets better now.
Best of luck.

How do you manage to grow or gain strenght when the sleep problems are at its worst?
When I start sleeping bad my studies always goes out the window and then workout motivation disaperes and after that I get seriously depressed witch feeds the insomnia even worse

i work overnights so i sleep during the day, no matter how tired i am, i can't stay asleep for more than 4 hours at a time, it really sucks because i'm usually somewhat fatigued all day and never really feel rested until the weekends when i crash for 12-14 hours

Just an update.. My GABA arrived ( http://www.abf.ac/gaba250.html ) and I've sleeping like a baby again, plus there's no after effects in the morning like prescription drugs. My sleeps have been so heavy my wife slept in my daughters room last night to get away from the snooring and me talking in my sleep. The stuff is dirt cheap, give it a try. The site also selling Melotonin, I've never used it but I believe its superb too.

I have tried it all. Melatonin, valerian root, warm milk, lol, benadryl everything. I had a script for ambien worked ok but only at 30mg 3 times the dose. Now had my doc switch me to sonata, looked it up on the web and its pretty much the same active ingredient as ambien. It sucks not to sleep like a baby.
