I always wrap my wrists. I don't use gloves but have a pair of wrist wraps that also give a little piece of cusion on my palms. On presses, I was having a problem with my wrists bowing/sliding out - and wrapping has helped a lot. A little chalk does wonders too. There comes a point where the little itty-bitty bones in your wrists can't keep up with your upper body strength.

I'm going to try em next time out.. I see a few bros training with them, but i never got around to buying a pair, I'll try chalk too, on the bench, it can't hurt.. I love making a mess with my chalk!!!!! haha

    thanks warrior

So far, I have only watched the Goggins squat...HOLY SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just left the gym and had some big guys squatting next to me...but they couldn't even say parrallel, much less get there.

When Goggins went down, I noticed I was nodding my head in agreement...going...there is a squat fockers!

The deadlift was done by Andy Bolton. It was also done in a wrestling singlet only..no suit!!!!!!!!!!!! The squat was done by Steve Goggins, i know and have trained with him. Super nice guy a real class act. Steve has also deadlifted 870 before also The bench was done by a douche bag Glen Chabot im not dissing his lift but he is not a very nice person.

Monster the wrist wraps help keep your wrists from bending backward making the lift harder because the bar isnt aligned with your forarm....I would suggest getting some they help grip also.

On a side note.....I was at the meet where Andy Bolton deadlifted that big weight..After the lift his blood pressure was so HIGH that some capillaries burst in the back of his nose causing extreme bleeding and all the blood rushed down his esophagus and he couldn't breathe. He was rushed to the hospital and thankfully he recovered. Im sure he was on MASSIVE ammounts of AAS. He is also a super nice guy.

Ammonia is something powerlifters use to "Psyc" themselves up.....It can be fun, but i wouldnt use it on "Max" day unless you have used it before. It can and will knock you for a loop =-)

We got a few big benchers in my gym.. But the majority of them are all disgusting fatbodys.. Some of them are punk ass powerlifters that give alot of kids a cold shouder, like their sh!t don't stink.. I'm like please, your nothing but 6 double cheeseburgers and a large fry, when i work out with the numbers you compete with!!!! That guy Glen in the first video is built like a fuking truck, he's defintley one of the best benchers around, I also saw the Mendelson video, him benching 875lbs i think it was... HAHA... After a 5 second pause!!!!! Then he blasts it up, like light weight baby..

    It's silly isn't it!!!

    haha
