Help with air bubble!

For some reason when I load the fina There is an air bubble that I cant get to pop. Can someone help me with this. I get paranoid when it comes to air bubbles

Hold the syringe, needle up and flick the side and pull in on the syringe til a tiny amount trickles down the neddle to lubricate it.

thanks it worked, another question though. I just injected and lots of blood came out and this has never happened , Is this because of scar tissue or am i going to fall down and die within the next 5 minutes?

air bubbles are not a problem. THe blood isnt a big deal either. Hapeens to me once in awhile

If you hit a vein or shot into a vein you would feel it. So im thinking you didn't hit a vein. In which case you should be fine.

You did aspirate before injecting correct? And you would need a LARGE amount of air injected DIRECTLY into a vein before you would die.

I you shot fina into your vein you would taste it!!! And no thats not a good thing. You probally just knicked a vein going in, or pushed the needle thru a surface vein on your way in.

Im not sure but I think it take like 10ccs of air directly into your vein/blood stream to cause your heart to stop. Its somthin like that

You would need about 3cc's of air to kill you, and it would have to shot directly in to the vein.

I personally leave about 1/10ml in the syringe just to clear all the gear out of hte hub and needle, dont want to waste a single drop. It would take enough air to fill a hearts chamber half full to kill but not exactly sure how much that would be but it would be more than what you have in your syringe.

What, your on cycle and dnot know what aspirate means.

After you insert the needle draw back a little, if a bubble is drawn out you are safe to inject, if blood enters the syringe you need to try again in a new spot.

is it deffo 3ccs? i've read numerous different amts mentioned, and just wondered

and if you injected air into muscle, sureley this would have no effect at all

You need to do some reading. And the amount of air is more like 20cc. Some cite more....I'm bringing an article over about this.

Sometimes air bubble gets stuck just to side of needle and wont go out... just draw back in more air, tap the syringe to pop the bubble and make all the air back together as one, push air out, might have to do this a coupple times but eventually it all gets pushed out... then also make a few drops come out of needle, oil running down needle helps lubricate it when you push it into skin/muscle.

Air in muscle wont hurt you but it can cause increased next day pain... so I do try to remove as much of the air bubbles as possible...

yea thats why i said that ive heard this 20ccs stuff which is more than most peoples syringes would hold, assuming most use 3-5ml syringes
