Natural Testosterone Production

Anyone know for a fact approx how much a male produces naturally of testosterone ?

I thought I read somewhere itwas 10 mls a day. This sounds very high to me.

ml is not the right unit for a quantity of testosterone . It should be in mg.

I think i remember the figure being around 50mg but you should check on that. Just do a search and youll find it.

an introduction to testosterone
The adult male will body will manufacture between 2.5 and 11mg per day and the adult female about 1/4mg a day..

excellent thanksfor that. It must have been 10mgs i read then. I have searched everywhere including google with no luck.

Just wondering so that i know my proposed cycle of 250mg every 4th day will be worthwhile.

Backspace is saying 10mgs a day. And I have read for myself that the average is 7mgs a day with 10mgs being on the high end.

I just read the answer to your question yesterday, as I was lookng myself. Free Testosterone "Normal" levels are 15.0 –40.0 pg/ml (520 –1387 pmol/L). Look up a post by Joeyz on Normal Blood levels for more information.

5-17mg/day based on what bodytype you have , endo , ecto or meso.

Yep and because not all of your injected testosterone actually becomes bio-available, it takes approximately 100 mg of injected testosterone a week to emulate the effectiveness of 70 mg a week that is produced by the testicles. So the numbers from natural sound very low but the natural source is somewhat more effective per mg then the injected.

Also your testicles can produce an aweful lot of testosterone, its just your HTPA down regulates production protential. HCG at 1000 IU's a week can up this production into the 240 to 580 mg's per week but this is also why HCG can be dangerous if taken too long as it can burn out your testicle's ability to produce too.

WOuld'nt natural production be higher for someone who regularly works out. I mean, if i squat, the following week or so i will have produced more test then if i did not workout? The 10mg a day is for the average guy, the average guy does not workout. so wouldnt natural production for us be much higher then 10mg a day or whatever.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) averages about 60mg of testosterone enanthate per week... thats to get a hypogonadal man up to a normal range. But two adult males can very 3 fold... adult females can vary much more than that...

That would depend on a few variables - caloric restrictions during intense exercise can lower natural androgen release cuz the body tries to drop some of that calorie-spending muscle weight... in atempt to becme more effecient. But with proper diet, adequete rest and intense training - you can experience natural testosterone and growth hormone spirts through out the day and while at rest...
