OK, i searched your posts, and your situation was much different.... What they did to you is very typical, and its an easy way to get the bust.

NEVER get a package that you have to sign for.

If you are asked to sign for it.... say no! If the mailman was undercover, they could still arrest you if you dont sign for it, but it will look much less incriminating in court.


As for this guy... The mailman wasnt undercover, atop of that, he's had the package for weeks. They would have made the bust weeks ago, rather than sending him a letter, and giving him time to clean house.

This whole thing sounds fishy to me? I dont understand why they would let you receive the package, then send you a customs letter? As far as customs goes, if they had any doubt about your package being illegal, they would have kept it. If they thought you had to have a license, they would have held the package and asked you to present your license before receiving the package.... NOT after.

I agree. It is totally strange they let it slide thru. If it was going to be a buy/bust or controlled delivery then feds would wait till he got back home to take possession of the goods then pop him.

Simple rule to keep in mind...agents don't return illegal contraband (be it dope, kiddie porn, counterfeit currency, roids, guns, or whatever) to guys without it being contolled. Controlled with surveillance, controlled with physical presense or whatever...but must have some control of the delivery (which means a operation is underway). Seriously, they don't need illegal contraband to get into the hands of a bystander. They have to take reasonable measures to ensure the illegal contraband is not haphazardly placed into the hands of bystanders, potential buyers, etc.....hence controlled deliveries, marked currency, buy/busts and a whole host of others means.

I think the Customs inspectors...errr the BCBP inspectors totally think it is herbal ****.
If they knew it was illegal contraband then what happened to mommasaidimajuicehead is text book ****. Make delivery...have person take possession (via signature) then pop them immediately and wait for subject of investigation to show up if he/she is not there....the arrest allows for a search by "incident to arrest." It doesn't matter who got arrested...the immediate area is getting searched.

In this dude's example...he has the goods and no one is banging down his door. That leads to so many problems and possible lawsuits and even negligence cases. The only way I see the feds getting out from a possible lawsuits and negligence cases is by not knowing it was illegal contraband. If they knew it was illegal and let it out without it being controlled...then that's a big no-no.

I bet there were two packages, and the seizure letter is for a second one.

Watch out for the controlled delivery trick! They know you, now. They have your name, your address, adn the fact that you are a gearhead. Don't have an order shipped to that same address ever again!

The advice to keep your trap shut holds true especially around your friends, and the more "innocent" the more careful you got to be. It is easier to get a guy who has never even been to jail for a bar fight to rat you than it is to get a career crim to rat you. Anybody who doesn't NEED to know, which is only you and your lawyer, should NOT know!

I think you ought to take all that paperwork to a lawyer, myself.

It is a felony and punishable as if you received cocaine. Steroids are classified a CDS. That said, you received your goods other than a controlled delivery so their is no proof of chain of custody. You have been given the right thing to do. 1. Get rid of the powder out of your house and room you share with a roomate. 2) Ignore the letter and if anyone comes knocking, deny ever receiving it or reading it and you know nothing of any package. 3) If anyone does come knocking, they will try to be your friend and act as though it is no big deal, just tell them what they want to know. Do not fall for this line of ****. You know nothing, you have no time to talk and if they want to speak with you, you will give them your lawyers number. If they say they will go easier if you cooperate, it means they don't have squat and keep your mouth shut. Odds are, if you take no action on the letter, it will just end up in a file. If not, be smart, admit to nothing and talk to no one, no matter how nice they are.

Another thing: SInce you have the letter, send it to your supplier and say it got siezed and get another package of the same thing sent for free. They have that deal where you bought it from right? If seized they resend you the items. So you made out bro.

There are some sources who will send you **** even if you didnt order it, like as an incentive for being a repeat customer. Maybe they sent a package to you, without you knowing, and it got sent. (prolly like 100 clen tabs or somethin like that). I highly doubt its for the package you just received, that makes no sense.

BBBB83 did you get ALL the "supplements" you ordered??? Sometimes sources will split packages up to minimize the size or whatnot?? Do you think that he did this? Maybe customs snagged teh 2nd pack.

1. I got all of what i ordered and it was packaged exactly like it was packaged b4 when i bought it.
2. I am not worried about getting my ordered resent, i think im out of the game bc this is just not worth an extra 10lbs of muscle
3. In the seizure letter it said that i had 50g of test propanate and 20 of stanzanol which is exactly what i ordered. Unless my supplier accidentally resent the package im not sure what is goin on

I never checked my email after that bc it was a hushmail acct and i never thought to. What i am thinking though is that maybe he thought it confiscated and resent the package. I just tried to check my hushmail acct but it got deactivated bc it was inactive 3 weeks. I really hope this is what happened but there is no way i can be sure.

That would be dishonest. The shipment he expected, that he paid for in good faith, arrived safely. He got his goods and should not hustle his source for a replacement. But he SHOULD try to check and see if they sent another package, either as a bonus or a completion of an incompletely filled order or by mistake. I still think there must have been another package, which is the one referred to in the seizure letter.

BTW you can get a paid account with hushmail and it doesn't deactivate through non-use.

I've delt with the new importation Laws if they don't mention steroids then yhey are just sending copies of the document that were needed for customs ....it sounds like the docs were check ...it happens some times. But as stated clean house and keep your mouth shut ......who knows what someone mailed you right..?

I thought you said that customs thought it was herbal supplements that that was how it was labeled. If the seizure letter says it was test prop and stanzalol then they know it was gear and there is no way they would have let it through. What did the seizure letter say?
