i think thats ridiculous. imo that represents what bodybuilding shouldn't become. using hormones is one thing, but tampering with dna and genes? simply ridiculous

    it is ridiculous.

Its with topics like these that we seperate those are doing bodybuilding for a hobby and those who are major psychological and self asteem issues to the point that it dominates their life.

AAS do allow a user to go above genetic potential though

so this is somewhat confusing to me if Myostatin limits your maximum potential

I disagree about AAS allowing a user to go above genetic potential.

AAS allows you to grow as long as youre using. As soon as you stop youll go back to your genetic allowance.

Additionally, those REALLY hard gainers will not be able to gain much even with AAS.

the hard gainer stuff is a complete myth i think. When i started training i got to a 155 pound bench and STAYED THERE for a HALF OF A YEAR even with consistent working out. I was so fustrated. I thought i was a hard gainer then- hell, my parents have horrible genetics i thought

But not long after i continued to train naturally and got my bench up to 300 pounds.....again, naturally.....hard gainer myth gone. The only way i got this way was from having a higher calorie/ HIGHER PROTEIN diet and sleeping enough. When i was not gaining, my diet stunk. it was like, there is no way i can eat more than this 2400 calorie diet

I think this shlt is stupid. I like the fact you work hard to get bigger, it gives you satifaction of what you are doing to your body and making it grow with hard work. This completely takes work ethic away which is what some people want. Everyone wants to be bigger but not everyone has the guts to do it. This is an easy way out.
