stats of a 185lb bodybuilder
i am qouting some stats of my training partner as he would like to know if he is progressing well........
height 5ft8
weight 185 lbs
arms 18 inch {pumped}
calves 16 inch
chest 48 inch
waist 34 inch
bench press 140kg x 3 {308 lbs}
shoulder press 80 kg x 3 {176 lbs}
seated tricep extension with ez bar 80 kg x 5 {176 lbs}
squat 150 kg x 5 {330 lbs}
deadlift 150 x 3 {330 lbs}
bicep curl ez bar 55 kg x 2 {121 lbs}
hammer curls 36 kg x 3 {79.2 lbs}
taking into consideration his weight height strenght ratio would you deduce that he is strong {relatively speaking}

34" waist seems a bit thick. That's were I started and I'm 5'10". 34" on me didn't look like a waist, it looked like a belly. 18" biceps are respectable.
The only way to know for sure is a before and after pic.

His bench looks strong for his weight, but his squat and deadlift are far from being "strong" at the weight he is at now.

im 5'8 and i think im around 33-34" waist it does not look like a barell i can tell you that much it all depends on the induvidual .. i have broad shoulders and a wide back ... and most of my fat is deposited on my lower back but from the front or side my waist doesent look out of symetry so it depends on the induvidual he seems to be pushing some good weights but as previously said give some stats.... age , training history, AAS use?

Sounds like he needs to work on his calves a little, They should be close to the same size of his bicep's to be proportionate with his body
