Im way down here in Louisiana so we're not too far apart. I havent taken a cycle but i give my buddy his shots. We go to a local drug store out of town. Its about 20 mins away and its in a small town so i guess they just dont give a shit but im pretty sure its legal. We tell them his father has diabetes...... kinda mean but it works.

I bought my first needles from shoppers drug mart and now i just keep bring them to needle exchange cliniques and getting new ones
its completly confidential and they will even show you how to properly inject!!!!

From all the responses here, the legality of buying needles (at least in drug stores) appears to vary from state to state (and most laws of that nature are established on a state basis, rather than a local or federal basis). In my state, for example, you can buy neither syringe-needle combinations nor needles alone without a prescription.

Anyway, I'd be careful about using diabetes as an excuse when buying needles to shoot AS. No one (except a heavy-duty masochist) would ever shoot insulin with the type of needle you need for oil-based AS; insulin needles are very thin (usually in the 30 g. range), and the syringes are much smaller and thinner. Any pharmacist who hears that you plan to shoot insulin with a 22 g. 1-1/2" needle may not show his reaction, but believe me, he's hip enough to be laughing his ass off once you leave.

By the way, I go with "Full Intensity" in this one - Shoppers Drug Mart (especially the ones that focus on home care) are a great source, except that the one I use (when I'm in Ontario) charges $0.35 (in Canadian dollars, which makes them about $0.24 U.S.).

i get mine free at the needle exchange, no questions asked. i just grab a box of 22 guage 1" pins and a box of barrels. they don't take names or anything, they just ask if its IM or IV injections that i am doing, then they give me a steroid education booklet and thats it

Call pharmacy and ask if you need a presciption. Tell them you are doing b-12 injections and need more needles. "do I need my doc to call one in or can I just pick some up." They will give the answer.

i walk into the 'junkie store'. in australia they have welfare agencies that have stock's of needles for free available to anyone so people dont share when they shoot up and get diseases. so you can just walk in and open the cabinet, take what you want and walk out no questions asked. the first time i went there i couldnt believe how many sharps packs were there. i grabbed that many pins that i dropped a bunch on the ground and was on my hands and knees scraping them up in the hall while people walked past and trying not to look at me. i felt like such a junkie.

In KS i jsut get them at the local drug store, some guys wont sell them to me without a script but i jstu come back later and grab one of those diabetes insulin shots brochures and read it while i'm waiting and they don't ask any questions

i get them from the dumpster outside of my local hospital. 18g 2" needles all the way. the may be a little dirty but i just run a little water over them and they are good to go. j/j, and dont go looking in any dumpsters. I go purely getpinz now since my local kroger became a communist needle camp requiring you to give id and sign a sheet requiring every piece of your information since the day you were born.

the funniest part about walking into the pharmacy and getting the needles is when they ask you how many do you need and you respond "just gimmie the whole box" then the next time you go into the pharmacy they are all out of 23 gauge 1" pokes and your forced to go with 22gauge 1.5" pokes because your probably the reason they are out after you went in there and cleaned them out the first time!!

It sucks here in Ohio. Everything is illegal. I went to CVS and they told me you need a prescription whether you buy 1 or 100. I get it from RYVMED. 100 for $7 or so, very cheap.

lol that happends to me all the time man, they always say "just one?" and i say "HAH! just give me the whole box that should do me for now" and then I go back 3 months later (I usualy get 100) and they're still out of the size I bought last time pretty soon I'll be jabbing with a ball point pen
