    Well 105 degree fever... hmmm 104 degree fevers have been known to give people epilepsy, 105 is beyond that threshold and very serious. There is no doubt there is a germ in there because fever is how your body is triyng to get rid of the infection as a lot of germs dont do so well at 101 degree and higher temperatures. The higher the temperature the more serious the problem. Also people HAVE been known to get gangrene from dirty intramuscular injections which can result in loss of the quad or worst yet the leg so obviously the sooner you go in the better. Signs of possible gangrene is a terrible smell coming from the affected area or from the fluids in the abcess which is something he described when he drained his abcess. I think he was very smart getting in there to hospital and hopefully it was soon enough to prevent the unthinkable from happening.

    Thanks guys im a live gave me iv fluids and injected antibiotics. my fever hit 106 at its highest and they were ereally worried. its down to 100 right now which is ok i guess i guess i lucked out cus i came dngerously close to dying. thanks for your cocnern, sorry im on pain pills for legs and im a lightweight whne it comes to pills so ic ant type well.

    High fever is never a good thing, organs/brain begins to break down causing coma & death if left untreated. When I first read 105deg temp I knew it was not good. Keep the cool liquids flowing and maybe a day or two of fasting is needed to help purge toxins.. (exception being fluids) Just a thought.
