i am certainly not kisn ne asss, but i have had my work stolen b4 (not this type of work) at first totally pissed...for days actually. now...years later, extreamly flattering. i hope i continue to do things others want credit for.

I get paid for what I write, yeah...I've kind of parlayed my moderating into an actual career.

Swole gets paid for various stuff he does,with regards to his nutritional programs, and stuff like that....which is (of course) helped out by mod'ing and such. He also has written stuff...

Most mods probably don't get "paid" in the same respect that he and I do...they generally get alot of free gear (AAS), discounts on supps, and discounts or free products of other sorts. It's a "volunteer" job, but really pays for itself in most cases.

It's my opinion that man people actually buy and open their own boards just to get free steroids from labs and sources who want to get in good with them.

Ever go to a board where "xyz" labs is pimped out hard by the staff? They get deals and freebies from that lab. 99.9999% of the time.

If you're a mod/vet you get great deals and free stuff alot of times.

If you're an admin (or very respected mod) you may not even pay for your own gear for years and years.

seriously though - Hooker your work is greatly appreciated by many people here as well as the work of other mods/vets/admins.

For someone not to give you credit on your hard work - thats just absurd and it really tells alot about that person...basically that they dont know jack shit about anything and that they are getting props for everyone elses hard work.

This thread is awesome. I don't know what is funnier, the thread or Meso's avatar. Hooker should get credit, period. He's the one who took the time to put the info together that other's have researched and I appreciate him greatly for that. Yeah it's out there for anybody to find, but I've got way to much "life" stuff going on to put in that kind of due diligence. I definitely do to a certain point (I read alot, don't post alot), so I guess my Crisco cycle starts tomorrow. Is that really you mowing your lawn Meso???

It's irrelevant. You know nothing of how people's trust is earned. You must be consistently correct, and always willing to update your information... I.e., not be emotionally committed to an inaccurate view. Hooker integrates a lot of information, searches to disprove misonceptions, and has even written about things that I DON'T find written about in many places... perhaps even being the first person to bring it to mass awareness... Is the work he does the gospel? No. Actually, medical journals aren't either. Nothing is impervious. But if it's just a little bit of tinkering around on the net and budgeting a few minutes here and there... why don't you pick a compound to write some original information about that people find useful enough to repeatedly view, and even steal. There are a few currencies in this society of ours... Sure, one is traditional money/credit/assets, and another is high status/regard. He has earned that. I think that is the concensus motives.
