WHile lifting?
do any of u take anythin like creatine or protien durin ur workout? if so wat do u take? is it good to take that stuff or pointless durin ur workout?

I drink lots of water, you need it flush the lactic acids out, which help with recovery. Take the protein and creating after your w/o

i do drink alotta water n have been drinkin a 23gram protien shake after hittin it hard but then ill go n hit the machines a little after. i hear all this n that about creatine that u should take itb4 your wo and some say after, but oin both would be a waste wouldn it? and i also read somewhere not to mix protien n creatine together?

i would up your 23 g post workout shake to 50g protein...and throw some dextrose in there too...2:1 ratio of g carbs(from dextrose) to g protein

no i jus do that 23g durin my workout then i do weight gainer after n then ill eat about 30mins after that. where can i score dex from?

For what its worth - my routine. Creatine within 10 min after workout, followed by a 40 gram designer whey shake about 10 min after that. Grab a shower then eat a normal healthy meal - hard boiled eggs and whole grain bread for me since I work out in the AM.

I'm with Johnny on this, lots of water while training, good post-workout drink immediately after.

I personally don't like creatine. With lots of water you're fine and as stated before eat some proteins before and especially post w/o with some dextrose, to spike the insulin levels up.

I only use creatine when bulking it blots me, I have a protein shake with dextrose 45 mins before work out and a shake just after with loads of water while training.
works for me!
