This is very true...They could have just gotten a little bit of information like a name and came there to rattle your cage to get you to confess. You should not have let them in . Give them your id if they ask but if they come in ask for a search warrant and if they do not have one then ask them to leave and pick up the phone and let them know you will be contacting a lawyer......

i've never heard of DEA driving benz's, especially in Motor City. And four of them...over just a tiny bit of gas? Sounds like a movie flick.

Well about 3 years ago I actually worked @ the DEA building, or on it rather doing some cement work with a friend.
We would see the raid vehicles go out all the time. usally its 2 vans with up to 15 people fully equipped.

I also had the DEA drop by my moms once for my brothers friend and it was same scenerio only 6 officers instead of 4 and they had the house surrounded before they even knocked on the door and he wasnt even there.

So yeah the dont **** around here, detroit is hungry for money and DEA I AM SURE is a HUGE CASH COW for the city.
I see the FLOORS of seized Cars and goods, literally 8 floors, 2 of just cars.

Its the very first Cadalac Plant in Detroit if any one cares to see the building, I can probably even map quest it for ya.

I'm not knockin on anyone here but until you guys are in the same situation you cant say "I wouldnt have let them in" "i woulda closed the door" "they cant do that" etc. I come from a family of law inforcement where i know alot of secrets and have heard MANY corupt cop stories.. Simply put they can do what they want, it may not be right or legal but they can. Also keep in mind he was probably pretty freaked out by the whole scenario inwhich you cant think straight in a situation like that. Lastly if it seriously was the DEA inwhich i could see it being, you dont F*ck with feds. My dads best friend is DA you ask for a warrant u just opened ur self up for some serious bullsh*t like feds constantly messing with you to the ponit of driving you crazy, calling, searching your house, random car stops/searches. one thing to keep in mind bro is that DEA are feds, they have no local authority. For the amount of gear you described they'd have to get local pd involved to really bring you in or charge you. I doubt dea wants anything to do with low level users, just a lot of paperwork and a waste of their time.

A source is taking a risk to sell steroids and a buyer is taking a risk on getting caught buying. I agree that he shouldnt have told the source, but lets face it... He got caught. He also could have his computer taken and they would have found out who he bought from anyway. Sources know the risks. Most of the people who buy steroids are going to snitch to save their own asses. Lets face that fact now. I cant imagine a 20 year old dude getting caught with 7 bottles of steroids and most of them NOT say shit. Domestic sources are taking a huge risk because they can be tracked down in the US where it is not legal. The sources outside of the U.S. are not risking much but you may get your shit siezed a lot more. I dont know....

The DEA showed up at your house because they wanted info from you to bust the supplier. All they want is for you to cooperate and fill out a statement saying "Yes, I bought steroids from so-and-so". They would use your statement along with other statements to bust this guy.

You are in the clear provided they don't catch you in posession of steroids. Even if they did catch you with the steroids they would only probably try to use this to pressure you to fill out a statement against this guy. It would be ridiculous for them to try and prosecute you.

So it's your call.

You have two options:
1) Help them with busting the supplier.
2) Tell the DEA to go FOAD!

YOU have control of this situation and NOT THEM. Don't let them convince you otherwise.

They cannot do shit to you. They just want your help and have a fukked up way of asking for it.

Very similar shit happened in the satellite card programming world a couple of years ago. Yes cops did go to some homes looking for card programmers and other sat stuff, even in my little small town.

If they knew what he said they knew, then they had to have the customer database of the supplier I would think, and they were going down each address that had placed an order, how else would they know that information....

If anyone has done business with this place, I would clean house if U know what I mean.

I would not involved my GF, or owned up to shit, the best thing is ask for is the lawyer, innocent till U prove me guilty. So on em' and
