Hurts when shooting

Hey members,
First Cycle, 6th shot in, rotating between Quads Twice a week for a test blend. My last two have started to get sore and hurt post shot. My last shot, I pulled out and about 1/2cc of dark blood came oozing out, most blood I've seen after a shot.

I'm pretty sure I didnt hit a vessel. There is a 6"x6" part of skin on one lateral Quad that is kind of numb all the time? I dunno if I'm doing something wrong here.Is this normal? I'm using a 1.5" 22 gauge, am I going too deep?

Did any blood come in when you aspirated?

No, When I aspirate I'm trying to pull back on the needle slightly, still getting used to it. I see a small bubble come out, this last shot I pushed the needle in and the bubble was already there. None of the users I know ever aspirate, and they've been juicing for 10 years.

You dont want to inject a vein, bad idea....doesnt sound like you did. Make sure you aspirate ...you'll see some clear bubbles form when you pull the plunger back hard.

SOunds like you may have pierced through one on your way in though...

the numbness....you might have hit a nerve also

I don't like shooting quads b/c its harder for me to tell when i'm about to go into a nerve b/c the muscle is already tight....any other spot i'm relaxed and the muscle will twitch if i start to hit a nerve, in which case i pull out a little and just readjust where it's headed.
