    t3 @ 50mcg?

    I know that t3 is catabolic, now is that when taking any dose higher than 50mcg or is that using it in general? Will my body adjust to 50mcg in a weeks time? I wanted to take t3 for the first week of my clen cycle, but not any anabolics. Will 50mcg even do anything? Responses appreciated. Thanks Alot.

    50ug will help alot. As long as protein is high, you hsouldnt notice much (if any0 muscle loss

    I was taking 25mcg for 5 days and dropped it bc it killed my appetatite too bad....So yeah, 50mcg will do something.

    t3 shouldn't have any notable effect on the appetite. were you taking any other supplements at the time? because t3 is a natural hormone its not like clen or ephedrine that effect the central nervous system and therefore shouldn't prevent you from being hungry. the key with t3 is to take in lots of protein as your body will metabolise protein at a greater rate whilst on it so if you don't eat enough it will eat away at your muscle to get the protein it needs

    50mcg shouldnt bother you but if you are still concerned about it get a free t3 blood test done by your doc. If you have normal thyroid levels you will be fine. Some people have slightly elevated thyroid levels while other have slightly low.

    Actually, it can/will affect the appetite - but usually, for me, in the opposite direction. When your metabolism is increased, as will your hunger... generally at low-moderate dosages I've noticed this.

    Also, it's not after protein in particular... energy in general...

    Yes, it can be catabolic; ensure your diet is spot on... and monitor your BBT...

    Yes, generally it will increase your temp... and no, your body doesn't really get 'used to it'...

    Thanks to all.
    I am pretty sure that my diet is on key, I will increase protein to 60% of my calories for the t3 week. Is something like a 60/25/15-protein/carbs/fats ratio. Is that acceptable? What is BBT?

    Running t3 for a single week is pointless.

    BBT = basal body temperature.

    ok, I'm missing something then. I just dont want to lose any muscle. I thought the t3 would give a nice boost in the beginning, should I just stick with clen ?
    thanks

    Either that, or extend the time you're on t3, but keeping it to ~35mcg/day or so if you're that concerned with LBM loss.
