No i dont think you have hit a nerve, you would know about it straight away if you did, sounds like a bit of pressure from the oil, put some heat on and massage it, you should be ok, how much did you shoot in it?

I agree shooting delts can hurt especially depending on the gear you are using those with more ba hurt more like if its mex.

You should be fine. The soreness will go away, given you injected properly.
You just popped your delt's cherry for the first time, so it will hurt a little more.
From what I hear, this goes for girls too, but I don't think I ever bagged me a virgin.

Even if you grazed a nerve on the way in, it should go away. I've grazed a nerve in my quad and kept injecting anyway to prevent turning my leg into swiss cheese my sticking again.

Did it burn and tingle when the needle went in?

Good to hear. Wait a week before you stick it again. Do your other delt next and get it out of the way and expect the same to happen.
