Do you tell the Doctor that your "on" ?

I was thinking of going in for a check up and I was wondering if you guys come right out and tell the doc you're on, and what you're taking?

In the US you definitely cannot get in trouble from your doc telling. (ie HIPAA/Dr/Patient Confidentiality) But I do wonder if this could affect your insurance. (ie drop or raise your prems.) Anyone know??

I wouldn't tell him unless you have a problem but that is just me. I don't think most doctors know shit about juice and they will only criticize you.

it's not a bad idea to tell him. if he's cool, he'll prob just give you a 2 min speech about, then help you out. That's what mine did

Be honest with the doc...and no the insurance companies cannot track what you see your doc for.

I think its a no brainer. I tell him everything, and even ask him for advice.
I think it wouldnt make sence to go see a doc and hold back the info which brought me there to begin with.
I actually see a doctor who specializes in sport medicine, and gives me scripts for all my pct stuff no prob.

lol, yea right I'd NEVER tell my doctor... Wife made that mistake with a rec drug a long time ago and turns out her OBGYN put it on her file and now 4yrs later she still can't get health insurance... LE and Insurance companies can look at your medical files FYI...
