purple skin wtf

i guy who i work out with ask me to post this here.

when he works out he gets purple skin,its like strech marks on his skin ,but it only shows when he is pumped.the worst off it is on his back ,chest and shoulderes.his chest today was a very dark purple,all over
he has just finished a 15 week cycle of test.

his stats are

age 33

lifting 4 years

weight 210 lbs

anyone seen or had this before.
