Siatic nerve?? OUCH!

Ok, so it seems like every 2 out of 3 times i shoot the left glute i get that feeling u get when u hold the prong on a plug when inserting it into the wall.. ya.. that internal shock.... then... i gush blood...

any thoughts????

Hard to say for certain. Where exactly are you inserting the needle?

Sciatic nerve is usually fairly hard to hit when shooting gluteus maximus. I am assuming that is your injection site and not gluteus medius or minumus right?

You have not hit the siatic nerve if you had you would no for sure

Check out www.siteinjectios.com I think it shows where the siatic nerve runs

Plus that site will show you the proper places to inject

maybe a blood artery? and you feel it tearing the the tingling is from the blood being released..when you pull the pin out the blood gushes

Then the needle is probaly just pushing or reasting agianst a nerve I have had that happen several times

how you hit the sciatic nerve is beyond me. Are you using a 2.5" pin? Your not injecting in the right place if you hit that nerve (totally wrong spot not even close). You can shoot your hip too if u wanted.

I figured it could possibly be another gluteal nerve but he never responded to my question so I guess he didnt see it or doesnt want my help, oh well Im sure he will be fine.

Opps sorry Bino... I thought I did when I answered horses..

I tend to float around since I am doing 750MG a week and sometimes it starts to get tender... typically its right where the diagrams tell me to go..and thats where I have the most trouble :-(

Just shoot your shoulders bro- I'm using 22gauge 1 1/2 and there's never been any pain,blood, or bruises. SO FAR. I am new but I was worried about the cyatic so I started just doing my shoulders and it's been easy I just alternate shoulders when I do my injections- test in one, winny in the other.

Maybe your ass is not big enough to inject.

how fast are you inserting the needle? If that spot bothers you hit delts, quads, lats. doesn't sound like fun to me.

Same thing happens to me on my left leg. 1" pin almost home then pow I pull out and go elsewhere it just dosent feel right its like hittin a crazy bone.

oooh man, i stay away from buttcheeks, i hit nerve once, n was paralyzed for 3 days, got a HORRIBLE abscess....nevr again. think ill stick to delts....n chest,...n biceps, n triceps, n quads...n calves, and traps ahhaha
