I've always had good results with pantothenic acid at 1000mg/ED.

This should be moved to the AR Spa Forum.

I've heard that using regular roll-on deoderant on your shoulders will dry out the acne and allow it to go away. I've never tried it though, but that's what several people have mentioned. You might want to go to Walmart and find Clean & Clear Acne Spot Treatment. That works very well on the face, it might also work well on the shoulders.

Also, look for products with either Salicylic Acid or Benzyl Peroxide, both are effective when used for a short period of time.

If your acne is really bad you might want to go to a dermatologist and see if you can get an Rx for either Differin gel, or Retin-A microgel. Or antibiotics.

    Hope that helps.

First try Nizoral shampoo (2%). Wash with it EOD leaving it on the effected are for 3-4 mins, then rinse off. Dont use it ED as it can irritate the skin and make it itch a lot. Your skin, if it works, will become more dry.

I also use a sunbed, twice, maybe once per week. I find this helps.

There are also various antibiotics, like Tetricycline or Lymecycline (which I'm on now). They do, though, take months to take effect.

Finally, there is Isotretinoin (Accutane), which I have 3 boxes off waiting to be used. Its a very toxic compound and bloodwork needs to be done every 4-5 weeks IMO. Start on 20mg/ED, then adjust the dose accrodingly comparing side effects/effects.

DO NOT COMBINE ISOTRETINOIN WITH ANY ANDROGENS/COMPOUNDS.

Nizoral 2% is Rx only. The Nizoral sold at the grocery store is the 1% version.
