Wink Got my Whatman, Now What?

I have never used a syringe filter before.

Does it filter when you draw?

Does it filter when you push?

If I already have juice in a syringe do I trash that and start again,
    ( hate that idea )?

There were no instruction on it's use so,

Any help would be greatly apprecieated!

you draw the oil into the syringe. Then place the filter on and inject throw it into a new steril vial.

Thanks. So the filtration takes place on the push. OK. I dont have a streil viel, am I stuck?

I am using this filter for stealth Test E. Hoping that this process wil help reduce if not eliminate completely the soreness that follows an injection using this gear.

Any suggestion would be greatly apprecieated!

How about this. Take a brand new syringe from it's packaging.

Pull out the stopper from a un-used syringe leaving the pin on and sheathed.

Fill it by pressing and filtering the juice from the syringe I already used to draw the juice.

Replace the stopper and consider this to be steril?

    Thanks again!

yes - you need some sterile vials - there's no point in filtering & then putting ur gear back into an old vial

unless you have a huge supply of whatmans & can use a new one each time you shoot

otherwise you need a load of sterile vials & preferrably some 10ml syringes draw the gear ( 10mls ) with a normal pin then replace pin with ur whatman, then push the gear thru the whatman into a new sterile 10/20ml vial - filter all your gear in one session

btw get a caulking gun to help with the filtering otherwise you'll get very sore hands / forearms / wrists

a good place for info on this type of thing is the lab forum

Were talking about a filter needle? I always just used em to draw and then replaced it with the regular and shot.

I wouldnt be putting the gear back into anything old. I would be putting it into an new unused syringe that I would fill from the draw syringe.

    Will this be OK?

I have been reading. The topic and possible solution stated in my original post is not addressed in any fashion that I can understand. I will move my post over to that forum however.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

yeah - but you will have to use a new whatman every time you draw - thats the point everyone is trying to make

you cant use it once, then store it somewhere for your next shot because it will no longer be sterile, so unless you're gonna filter all your gear in one go & put your whole cycle into individual syringes then you will need some vials
