storing gear

I have moved in with someone who doesn't approve of gear at all. I have been forced to store my gear in a storage unit. Will this ruin it. Maybe it already has. What effect does heat and cold have on gear?

to hot it willl be ruined to cold it will crush i think u want to keep it between 60 and 80 f.just put it under ur bed or by a little lock box is this person gonna be snooping around in ur shit : /

very small amount. Left over from last cycle. I have a bunch of furniture and stuff in there. Just wondered if it would still be any good. People heat test all the time right? So why would it hurt it to get hot?

buy one of those things to hide stuff...like a fake hair spray bottle or deodorant bottle...sometimes Spencers sells them, or sometimes head shops or sex shops...
