Finasteride can stop the conversion (by the 5ar enzyme) of Test to Dihydrotest, this is all. Any other AAS exerts an androgenic effect at the hair folicle that may be blocked by topical application of Flutamide, Spironolactone, possibly in conjunction with Minoxidil.
Remember, the exception to the rule is Nandrolone (Deca ), which actually breaks down to a weaker compound at the 5ar, thus making it probably the safest steroid with respect to scalp and prostate issues. (Taking Finasteride while on Deca nullifies this benefit...)

Thats the theory although it never happened to me. My last cycle was Test and Deca along with Var and Winny and I was doing 5mg Proscar ED and it had no effect on my hair at all

If your prone to MPB there is nothing you can do except take certain compounds to try and delay the process but i am afraid thats all you might do is a slight delay, the end result will be a bald head just shave and go thats what i do

Sound advice Marcus, but the circular head challenged generally prefers to fight this inevitability. And fight they must.

not entirely true. 5AR inhibition will prevent boldenone (and its methyls and derivatives) from reducing to their dihydro counterparts...though this will have only a small effect as boldenone has very little affinity for 5AR...

also, 5AR inhibition will work for methyltest, 4OHT, M4OHT, OHA (formestane), 17b-methoxy-test, androstenedione and diol...i suppose that's all the ones i know....

i was told it wouldnt cause hairloss until a couple of weeks ago. i was asking a friend about it and said he lost some hair while using it. he must have been using another compound (test or somthing) on the side that he didnt tell me about.
