Newby...Pain in the butt.
Hey guys... On my first cycle Test Enanthate 500mg. split up (250mg)twice a week. Did my first shot in the glute following all the precautions. Shot went great..no pain ...next day a little sore...following day real sore...now its 5 days into it and its still sore as hell. Is this uncommon. Friends told me heating pad...tried that all night...no signs of infection at all...just sore as hell in the glute muscle. Was supposed to do second shot but if I get the same results I wont be able to sit down on both cheeks. Thanks for any input.

Probably just a virgin muscle...
As longs as its not hot and red, you should be fine

First time i did my quad shot my leg was sore as F*** for a week. I even missed a day of school and work because it hurt too much to shift my car (stick shift) !
You get use to it after a while. No pain no gain my friend.

Thanks guys for the responses......Well now ive got two shots under my belt ..did the other cheek. Another question for ya...would you stick to the glutes or move around...I get differing opinions. Thanks...

You should be good with just those two, but moving around will help with preventing scar tissue. Try delts, chest.... i havent done delts yet, but chest i find is the easiest...

if you are 100% unsore(word?) then you can keep hitting the glutes but if its even a little sore move to quads or delts dont hit a sore muscle again

As long as its not infected or abcessed you're okay. Make shure you are rotating sites. Try not to worry too much about it.

It couldn't hurt to hit the quads so
that you'll have an extra two locations
if need be. Besides....you'll have to
get over that virgin muscle pain also

Damn Mrme I Cant Believe The Chest Is The Easiest For You. The Chest Is The Only Place I Havent Tried. Every Other Place Has Been Fine, There Is Just Something About The Chest. I Bet Your Chest Is On Swole. I Remember The First Time I Hit My Shoulders I Couldnt Move My Arms For A Week, Let Alone Work Out.

Its not as bad as you think at all, i thought it would hurt but it didnt, just the first time a little sore for a day, but much less then anywhere else.
What does "On Swole" mean?

aye, Id say your just not used to it. give it time... my first cycle, i hurt for a while after the first few shots. but you get used to it.

Ive delt with it plenty of times. Take 3 Aleeve's and 1/2 hour later it will be feeling better and by an hour you should be able to sit again at leastwith less pain. It sounds a little to easy, but I was told this on this board, I did it and now I dont even sweat thinking of a virgin muscle. One other thing I learned was that when shooting a virgin muscle I would take two 1/2cc shots instead of a whole cc in a virgin muscle. Say for instance one in left bicep and the other in my right bicep. By the next time you hit that muscle it wont be as bad if you do decide to hit awhole cc. Hope that helps ya out a little
