Help from Mods and the expierienced!!!!
I have searched all over and cant find any answers just conflicting ideas to my questions! And if the answer can be found with the search engine I apologize tell me so and I will go and search again! I am a 24 year old male 6'1 190 LBS .aprox ( my weight shifts from day to day) I have just quit smoking ciggs and my appatite has increased dramatically so I figured now would be the time to start working out and build up the arms and chest I have always wanted! Now for the kicker I'm also a 14 year diabetic and with the more research I do, it seems that protein drinks and creatine suppliments are very, very dangerous for me due to the extreame work it will force on my kidneys which eliminates that as an option. Also I have read that diabetics that smoke have significant low test levels. I am currently taking plenty of mixed vitamins, B12 inj, fish oil ect along with the fact that I use pharmacutical GHB for my narcolepsy and obviously due to the diabetes my diet is controlled. My question is with out taking creatine suppliments or protein drinks is it possible to put on some mass, especially if one was using test cyp or would it basically just be converted into estrogen due to the lack of protein/creatine?

Yes you can still put on good size. You are new and still have plenty of roon to grow natty. As for your natty test levels being low the only way to know for sure is to have ot tested.
The best thing for you to take right now is food. Diet and training is 90% of bbing.

Plenty of Chicken lean beef, pork and fish dude and you are there. Protein shakes are just a fast food alternative, you can get the same amount of protein from real food and it is, in fact, a much better source or protein than shakes.

protein shakes simply make it easier for us to take in additional amounts of protein without the extra fat, ( but then we supp with flax) so eat eat and eat..
depending on the type of diabetic you are if you are using slin or not, there are many variables..
see if you can set up a diet that would allow you to maintain your levels and still eat enough food to take in 300g of protein a day..
see your doc about the diet you propose..The answer to your every question

Where have you got this information that whey protein and creatine are bad for your kidneys, I believe this to be totally untrue and would like to see evidence that proves it.
I also do not think that whey is an inferior protein or a fast food alternative, in fact it is probably one of the best protein sources available IMO.

Best bet for the protein and creatine would be to run it past a doc first. If he can't help ya then consult a dietrician. Explain your situation and see what they say. You may be able to take certian forms of protein or lesser amts to make sure your kidneys are ok. And personally I don't use creatine while on gear, I don't think its necessary. That being said though, I do use protein powders and meal replacements like their going out of style. Best of luck.
