Is there blood in your urine or only when you ejaculate?

probably not a big deal there was a post about a guy who had a few drops with his urine. the doc said that some sperm probably hardened then was pushed out during urination which caused a small tear. Most likely same thing just happened, had a prety big load or pushed to hard. However ,definately not something to mess with, blood coming from your penis should be a prety good indication you need to see the doctor. and considering most of us on here arent doctors, even if we were, we couldnt diagnose over the net. with that being said i emphasize seeing the doctor.

This happened to me once when I took a swift kick to the sack...I noticed blood in my loads for about a week after the incident, then it was gone.
So trauma to the testicles is one explaination I suppose, not sure in your case...if it continues for another few days or so, I'd get to the doc and have it checked out.
Good luck,

I had this happen to me last year. I only knew it because I saw it in my condom.
I went the the doctor, asap. He told me that I was fine. It is actually not a big deal and that most people have had this happen to them. What causes it is a vein that is by the balls has a break causing some blood to mix in with your load. Compare it to a bloody nose.
However, I would see a doctor anyway.

How sure are you that it was blood?
There are other reasons for discolored semen.

Please don't worry bro. Although a very frightening symptom, blood in the semen is seldom related to a serious underlying cause.
It is an uncommon presenting symptom of prostate cancer, as a result of the cancer invading the seminal vesicles that lie adjacent to the base of the prostate gland. This would not be of concern to someone young, as the condition usually occurs in men aged over 50. The problem may also occur when the prostate gland is inflamed (prostatitis).
It is most likely in the absence of pain, fever or symptoms such as swelling of the scrotum or a palpable lump, that you have simply had a small bleed from one of the blood vessels in the sperm producing apparatus for no specific reason. Also hard core mastbation can trigger this effect.

I had it before. It happened to me on winny, but that was all I was taking. (I know, I know very dumb) It was my 1st cycle, but got sick results. Anyways it scared the crap out of me and I searched it over the net and its not that uncommon. It happens more often than peeps think and the peeps are NOT on steroids . Just your average Joe Blows. My semen was a rust color. I watched it over a week and in week 2 it was gone. Never had a problem again. Going to a doc is never bad advice, but if it happened to me again Id ride it out into week 2 if it didnt clear then Id sh!t myself and go see a doc. Just my 2 cents.

Blood in your semen can come from many places dude, get your shit checked. PERIOD. If I had a SPEC of blood coming from mini me, I would be there that day or next day if my doc was closed.
Trauma to the testicles, tear in the vas deferens, prostate issues. . . what ever the case, you would be just as stupid for not going as the people saying its no big deal. Its your stuff man. Your man stuff at that. You bet your ass if I had blood coming from it internally or externally. . .I would be at the doc.
OUCH my stuff hurts thinking about it.

Definition
Blood in the semen, called hematospermia, may be undetectable (microscopic) or visible in the ejaculation fluid.
Alternative Names
Semen - bloody; Blood in ejaculation
Considerations
Associated symptoms may include:
Pain with urination
Pain with ejaculation
Pain with bowel movement
Tenderness in the scrotum
Swelling in scrotum
Swelling or tenderness in groin area
Lower back pain
Fever or chills
Blood in urine
Common Causes
Blood in the semen may be caused by inflammation, infection, blockage, or injury anywhere along the male reproductive tract. It may indicate disease or a problem within the urethra, testicles, epididymis, or prostate.
Blood in the semen is usually the result of inflammation of the seminal vesicles, and will usually go away on its own. Often, the cause cannot be determined. If the blood does not clear and ejaculate is persistently stained with blood, more tests should be done. These tests may include urinalysis and culture, semen analysis and culture, and ultrasound of the seminal vesicles.
Home Care
Minor injuries may be treated with rest, applying ice, and monitoring symptoms. Major injuries may require reconstructive surgery.
Infections can often be treated with antibiotics taken by mouth (or intravenous antibiotics if symptoms are severe).
Blockages are typically treated with surgery. If cancerous tumors are the source of obstruction, radiation or chemotherapy may also be indicated.
Call your health care provider if
Always call your doctor if you notice any blood in semen.
What to expect at your health care provider's office
The doctor will perform a physical examination. The doctor will look for fever, swollen lymph nodes, a swollen or tender scrotum, discharge from the urethra, or an enlarged or tender prostate.
To help diagnose the cause of the problem, your doctor will ask medical history questions, such as:
How much blood was in the semen?
Was microscopic blood ever noticed in the past when the semen was examined for another reason?
When was this first noticed? Is it present all the time?
Is there anything that seems to have caused this symptom?
What other symptoms do you have?
The following diagnostic tests may be performed:
Triple-void urine specimens are collected for urinalysis and urine culture:
Initial stream
Midstream
After examiner massages the prostate
Semen analysis
Semen culture
Ultrasound of pelvis and scrotum
The urinalysis may show high white blood cells.
A culture of the urine after prostatic massage may show bacterial growth and high levels of white blood cells. However, your health care provider may choose not to massage your prostate if it is obviously swollen and tender, because massage may potentially spread the infection. This could lead to bacteremia or sepsis (generalized infection in which bacteria are present in your bloodstream, not just the prostate).
