DNP and Hives
ive been taking DNP for 13 days now. ive been taking 50mg of benedryl ever night. but today at 11am my knuckels started itching. around 12 they were swollen. and by 1pm i had hives on my hands, elbows, side, legs, and feet. this shit itched so bad i went to the emergeny room and they gave me some stuff to take. hell my hands were so swollen i couldnt make a fist. so has anyone else had this from DNP before or is it from something else? any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're allergic to it dude, not really much you can do to change that unfortunately!!
You could try a stronger/different anti-histamine such as Cetirizine, or any of the 2ndGen products available. At the end of the day though the AH will only mask the reaction, you'll still have the problem!!

and all the hives are gone. here are the meds my doc told me to buy to prevent the outbreaks again: Benadryl(h1) 50mg at night, Claritan(H2 Antihistimine), and Zantac(for acid reflux, also a H2)

O and the doc prescribed me Prednisone AS. all this crap made the itching stop within 20min and the hives dropped from huge dime sized hives to small nothings in about 6hrs.

I can´t believe it.
you are experiencing allergic reaction to DNP and you just don´t get it.
- > bump up your H1-receptor antagonists A.S.A.P
ASAP means: As soon as possible.
You might need stronger H1-rA; try getting levocetirizine, Desloratadine or Fexofenadine.
BEWARE:
When you use H1-rA in high dosage ( e. more than the r/x tells you..) the risk of sinus bradycardia is above normal.

yes i get it, but ive never heard of people getting hives. everthing ive read says people get a rash on their chest and armpits. not hives all over the body. most people say keep pushing on and it will pass. And thanks for the RX info but u dont have to be a dick.

Allergic eactions can take many forms and can cme at any time. Many people dont suffer with Hayfever (seasonal Rhinitis) all throughout the year, some don't suffer every year!! The same applies to any allergen, DNP included.
Hives are definately what I would call a class 2 reaction, rash being class 1 and anaphylaxis being class 3.
Experiment at your own risk against all good advice.... hmmm, I wonder where it's gonna lead?!?!?!
