Delt Injection = Bicep soreness?
I had this problem once before when I did my quad. This is my first cycle.
Week 1 - Both Glutes
Week 2 - Quads
Week 3 - Glutes
Week 4 - Quads
Week 5 - Delts
I did my left delt and it was just a little sore around the injection area, after i did my right one, my bicep is sore now (2 days later) not the injection site. I did arms the other day with the soreness and i can still max out and the pain goes away after the second or third rep, but its just an annoying feeling that ive had for a few days.
I had this problem once before when i did my quad injection on week 4, the site where i injected didnt hurt, but my knee and the muscle right where it touches the knee was SOOOO sore. Fluid built up around my knee and i had limited range of motion.
Is this an infection? Or just virgin muscle soreness? it just seems weird that I am getting sore in the muscles below where i inject.

I have the same experience as you, as well do others. I think what happens is that the fluid from the injection travels down the space formed by the fascia that surrounds the muscle. This space is called a compartment. It seems to flow down with gravity and then stop at the boundary of the compartment. I did a quad yesterday, about midway down my vastus lateralis( side of thigh) and it hurts right down by my kneecap. Nothing to worry about, I think.

You'll be fine. I too sometimes experience soreness or a bit of redness and warmth off location from the injection site...I assume it's just the bodys' reaction to the injection. It should subside in a day or so, if not you may have a problem.

Could you treat it like a regular bruise or muscle swelling, just like ice it for the first day or so then heat it? I dont know if that will treat it or just be a waste of time.

I use icyhot when I get muscle soreness or stiffness from an injection. seems to help losen up the sore tight muscle. I have had this happen in different areas than the injection also. Might happen once every eight or so injections for me.
